CyanogenMod-6 for Hero V6.0.0 - RC1

Does anyone have the ringtones that were included in both 1.5 and 2.1? I flashed the CM6 and the ringtones there are not the same... It's been driving me nut's not having the same ringtones as before for my alerts.

Thanks

Can somebody please send me or post the zip of the 9/11 nightly? Looks like I deleted it & it's not on the index. Thanks.

i have 9/13 nightly. works like a charm for me, which is the current nightly i'm on. i found that the other nightlys weren't for me..9/11 nightly had issues with notifications, 9/13 i have yet to experience any of this.

tried to upload it but it wouldn't let me. pm ur email and i'll email it to u and anyone that wants the 9/13 nightly

I have the following set up:

CM6 stable build, JIT on, LauncherPro, Uncapped kernel #14, Collin Battery tweak deafult 768, circle battery mod, no theme installed

Do I need to run SetCPU or Overclock widget to make it go faster? my best linpack score is 3.298 and i keep hearing about guys hittin in th 5's. What gives?!

circle battery mod? and how is your battery life with the collin battery tweak?

sorry if i totally skiped over the answer, but how do i get voicemail? when someone leaves me a voicemail i get a text and still cant access it. I tried google voicemail and said its not available with my carrier. Is there a way to get the regular sprint visual mail?

Also, as far as email goes (hotmail), is there a way to delete mail of server when deleting from phone like on the sprint release?

that being said i was rooted with fresh 2.1, i was getting a bunch of force closes and was constantly running slow because of limited space. I finally decided to unroot and use Sprints official release, i was so close to throwing the phone against the wall, it would take 20 seconds to make a call, 15 seconds to load a text message, and was so laggy. This ROM is awesome, has a few quirks but is so fast and AMAZING.

THANK YOU.

For anyone experiencing horrible battery drain with the last couple of nightlies, the 925 is fine now. Whatever was keeping the phone awake previously is now gone!!

Anyone know of a stock kernel or something similar to this {GPL}[Kernel][Tool] ZenKernel HTC Kernel Overclocked UnderVolted + AnyKernel 8-29-10 - xda-developers
For CM6?
I've been using the noperf kernel on Zen and it's absolutely fantastic. It allows me to play the "oid" (Gensoid, Nesoid, etc) games without much, if any, lag. I'd like that on CM6, but unfortunately, no being able to play those games is what caused me to nandroid back to Zen.

Brainfuct #7 from Dec, should be plenty;)

Awesome! Just flashed it and it seems to work great; Nesoid/Gameboid/Gensoid all play just as well on CM6; now I can run Froyo!

Whole reason I wanted to switch before is because I wanted to play my emulators. Much appreciated!

I flashed the newest CM6 and when the phone turns on it is stuck with the cyanogen logo running constantly. I can't get out of it. What am I doing wrong?
My first time doing this by the way.

You are in a boot loop. No biggie, just pull your battery, wait for 10 seconds, replace battery and re-flash the ROM. That usually does the trick. Keep in mind that the first boot can sometimes take awhile with a new ROM.

I am new to the rooting scene and love what it is doing for my phone performance. I have rooted, installed 2.2 and have just installed Launcher Pro Plus.

My problem is that when I turn on WIFI it will authenticate with my router but cannot obtain an IP address. It was no problem before all of this.

My question is, has anyone else had this problem? and if so, how to fix?

Thanks for the help. I'm excited about getting this performance boost.

Did this problem ever get solved? I'm now running into the same issue on my home network .

my friend rooted my phone and I believe I have the sept version of this ROM. My battery life is complete crap with this version of it. Is there an update and do I have to start completely over if I do update?

If your phone is still running CM6, you can update to the last version of the stable release, which is 10/28. If you flash the 10/28 build, wipe Dalvik cache and cache. Then flash the rom. You can find the RC build here Do not flash the nightlies, as those are gingerbread:eek:
