just choose wipe dalvik, mines similar, there is no wipe cache either & i use 1.6.2 ra, it just has wipe dalvik-cache & wipe data, no wipe cache

so why are most posts saying wipe cache AND dalvik cache?? i feel like i'm missing something here
 
the latest nightlies gives you the ability to swipe your notifications in the notification bar to the left or right whenever you highlight them. it's pretty cool considering when you click clear everything goes away but now you can actually choose to keep which notifications you want to get rid of. try it out :)
 
I flashed the nightly for the 19th and now I cant get a gps signal even standing in the middle of the street, gps status finds 6 sats but cant fix to any of them, Im in St louis and sprint nav thinks Im in Kansas city whichis 240 miles away lol

Download the app called "GPS Status." It'll let you reset your internal GPS so that it locks on the way it use to.

When using the GPS Status, did you do a reset in the A-GPS? I would try that first and then do another download
 
resetting the A-GPS worked great, thanks everyone for the advice, hopefully works without problems after I finally get CM 6.1
 
Sparing you the details of why I have to use a USB cable sync, does anyone else on here use this option?
With the CM6 I don't see the drop down option to sync anymore.

I don't believe you can use HTC sync for calenders and such...
 
I flashed CM6 final build and have been very happy, but was curious if anyone else has had freezing problems when running more than one app. It usually happens when I'm listening to music on the native app or Pandora and receiving texts. Phone is very laggy when running music in general. Think I'm gonna look into overclocking...

I reset gps and then hit download. It says "a-gps data will be downloaded as soon as you have a data connection."

What do I need to do now? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Edit: Disregard this ^ I figured it out. I opened google maps and plugged in a route and it locked on quickly. Thanks.
 
might be a dumb question, but is there a reason you can't use the search button from the home screens? i'm guessing that was somehow tide to htc and the sense UI?

any way around this? i used to use the search key all the time, i believe i will miss its usefulness.

i'm still able to use the search key..wha happens when you press it??

download mod music and try that. i'm not sure if it'll work but it's worth a try

or go through a file manager and highlight the song and it should allow you to play it as a ringtone

nothing happens at the home screen.

in the browser and other apps it brings up the apps internal search like normal.

if i long press it on the home screen it brings up voice search as before, and long pressing menu brings up the keyboard but no search box.

go to your settings from your home screen and try to configure your search settings
