CyanogenMod-6 for Hero V6.0.0 - RC1

I need help. I am a noob at this, but i just rooted my phone using: update-cm-6.0.0-Heroc-RC1-signed. and after it completed, i rebooted my phone and now it wont boot up. Its stuck on the screen with the blue android guy with the stream thing going around. That keeps going away and coming back. Its been like 20min already. What can i do about that? Please help. Thanks.

boot into recovery, wide cache & dalvik-cache, & try to flash the RC1 again

Those should be the ones running in the background all the time and probably won't eat you battery, so what are killing with TK?

I guess my point is, since you're not seeing those specific apps running in 'running services', then they should NOT be killed by a TK. Android OS is taking care of those specific apps

in recovery, go to wipe, then wipe dalvik-cache, then hit the back button on phone, go to flash, then select the v6.0.0-rc1.zip file, then after its done, reboot

It gave me an error: 'wipe dalvik' via adb! Does this mean i have to go through the "Unrevoked" procedure again?
 
I'm having a similar problem with my loading screen being stuck on the blue android guy. I haven't been able to load up the recovery menu at all. Do the buttons change after flashing this ROM?

no, try reinstalling the recovery image again, & try again
 
I got a guru to fix the recovery issue. All solved on that end.

Aka, cache wiping still didn't work. But at least it's not a brick. <3 you guys.

Did you have a recovery image before you flashed? If so, pull battery and hit the red power button and volume down button at the same time, then hit home for recovery

wireless settings perhaps??

do you know how to wipe cache in the recovery screen?? i only have wipe data and wipe dalvik..but no wipe cache..i'm on 1.5.2 ra
 
Does anyone know how to manually synch a contact to a facebook friend? It automatically synched a lot of them but some it doesn't... maybe because of nicknames and such, but when I go into the contact to edit I don't see a link option like on 1.5 and 2.1.
