Root cyanogenmod 7.2?

I've seen on cyanogenmod's google+ account and read around androidforums.com about a 7.2. I've been out of the loop, moving and so on so I haven't heard anything. Will this work on the Optimus V?

I guess the real question would be, if there are updates to 7.1 will it automatically update or will the user have to search re-flash a new rom?

I think that JerryScript's BACKside is based on the C7.2. At least that's what it says in the About Phone, Mod Version Section.

Jerrys ROM is also pretty amazing. To update you flash the new ROM. If you follow his directions it takes less than five minutes and everything well be setup like before. updating does not wipe all apps and settings

Read the changelog for BACKside, you'll find JerryScript keeps it in sync with Cyanogenmod.

If you are using any of the recent BACKside builds then you are using a ROM that's synced with CM's 7.2
