My install- wiped everything-installed cm7 after re-boot install HF2-fixed permissions right after, re-booted works good except MMS-i let it sit for 30 min and no messages sent nor 3g usage showing. I just switched it to spoof iphone and let is sit for wile and nothing and that fix just says for wifi--but tried it anyway and APN was extracted to sd but shows up as 1kb file that cant be restored

Ok I said not to fix permessions it was not need for me And the apn part it nit on me I can send u a copy of my apn but Dout that will work ok I don't think its software revert back to stock update ur profile and prl then retry I know mms is working because its working perfectly fine on mine other then calling issues sometimes the other person is calling and it wont show on my phone that's my only problem

ok, yeah my prl is 11115 changed it for ctmod lol ok so no permissions :-0

No---im reverting to stock again now- then ill try cm7 over that then HF2 no fix permissions lol--ill post back in few

EDIT: So updated PRL to stock...flashed back to Stock GB--installed CWM wiped everything-installed CM7 HF2 and not even showing 3g movement on MMS

i kept getting this problem. looks like its how we flash hotfix 2. i spent a good while doing this yesterday and what worked for me is flash hotfix2 with a fresh install of cm7 and fix permissions right away and nothing else. then instead of reboot system or whatever it was, i turned off phone. note: if phone is plugged in somehow and charging, it started right away and went into cwm. you want phone to turn off and stay turned off so you can then turn it on and boot right away to cm7 so keep it unplugged at this point.
 
I would just like to say that I have Cyanogen Mod 7.1.0 beta installed with hotfix2 and have no problems except my battery going down alittle faster but for a beta its running great.

Did that, even reverted to stock and went from there
 
Can anybody please help. Been trying for two days to get mom's to work. I fresh install cm7 hotfix2 fix permission. And I can send and receive texts but not picture mail. Anyone else with same prob

Ok I think I found a fix here's what I did hroak stated in his post to use voice dailer and say open apn if its on there click it and click the boost mobile to turn it on my mms has been working fine I hardly use it but I tested it out

My specs
Cm 7 3.5
Hot fixes 2
Cleaninit.zip
Boost mobile apn checked

I think you can use any apn manager to.get it to work but this is what I did
*update* also my prl 61007 boost tower
 
I will give a longer report later this weekend. First let me. Say that. I love CTMOD

But barring some unforeseen dealbreaking bug, I am switching to this as of last night.

Hroark you continue to pick projects that are just what we all need the most. This is First Class Stuff.

Ive been messing with my prevail and I ended up with it not letting me make or receive calls. I was mad and decided my prevail was a crash test dummy and decided to flash it with the syanogenmod and when I was done my phone worked better than ever ! I dont have the money to donate right now but I am going to as soon as I got it ! Thank you for everything !!!!

Did that a few times still wont work? Guess I'm ass out
 
you guys must be doing something wrong the only problems for me is the camera.apk a lot of the settings within the app don't work, camera button opens the camera but wont take a snapshot and when switching to video the white balance is set very high and cant be change.
