Root Cyanogenmod On Triumph

Can someone walk me through getting cyanogenmod (or straight gingerbread if that's a lot easier)on the triumph now that the kernel is out. I'm a massive newb so detail would be appreciated

I would not do it at present. Almost nothing works; Isaac is the head chef on this, but don't pester him - when it works, it works. I'm hacking on it too but at present the git repository is hosed and won't build.

Just be patient.

I'm excited and really anticipating a working "upgrade" from the stock Triumph. Is there a way to get notified of it, so I don't keep checking manually? Maybe a particular forum with email notification? I don't want to pester Isaac either.

It'll get announced here I'm sure when there is something that works - even if "works" is defined as "can make calls, can run Wifi, can send and receive SMS/MMS and can run data over the cell network", even if other things are broken.

Until you get those basics it's not usable. Just watch this forum - it'll get announced when the major components of the above list are working, with the big one being the Cell radio coming up and being operational.
