wow a celeb on here i feel like a teenage girl at a NKOTB concert. hehe . Hey pete do you ever take a break I was just getting to like

Sweet! I saw this earlier today and was dying to flash it but damn work got in the way! :D The only concern I had is that It looked like I would have to give up NexBeast. With Pete making a version of this compatible with BB...nice!

Flashed the theme to try it out and man it is awesome! Now to get the best theme on the best ROM... Dark Edge on Bugless Beast of course :) Glad to see you here pete and can't wait for your future releases of Bugless Beast!
 
i have noticed some skinning issues. 1 is the text within google voice is all black so you cant see the caller. i have noticed a few other similar instances through out the skin.

yea I noticed that issue so I went back to my old ROM, hopefully this gets fixed

I was gonna vote to have you banned for the NKOTB reference but then I read the rest of your post, those must be some good pain killers :p

This theme looks pretty sick, but I noticed the too dark issues on some screens also

I'm not a big fan of the flickering when you pull down the notification tab. I ran DE for about an hour and then needed to get back to business. It looks great so I'd be happy to give it another shot later on. It has to be compatible with BB for me to even consider running it full-time. I bet Fab starts tinkering around with it as well :cool:

Hey guys I've been lurking here for a while now but this has been bugging me and hopefully one of you guys can help me out.

I flashed the nandroid of DE and it's working great but I can't theme my apps. I read the install guide and even went on the irc but there were too many people in there and my question got lost in the fray lol.

I've never used adb or the terminal for mac for that matter. I downloaded that a2s file but I can't get it to work. Can any one show me a step by step of how to do this? I'm a noob when it comes to all this adb sdk terminal stuff.

What kind of error message are you getting when you try to run a2s?

Likely not right away. But all you'll have to do it place the file on the root of your SD card and apply it with Clockwork though. It's pretty easy. I'm sure Pete will include instructions.
 
Actually this theme is a bit different... Unless Pete does some of his uber magic to make it a flashable zip... You have to apply this as a meta morph theme...
 
This is going to get interesting....this theme looks awesome, pete is porting it, and I am travelling for the next three days, UGH!!!!
 
Even if Pete can't make it a flashable update over a ROM he will most likely just release BBV1 pre themed with it. It won't be hard to install.

How is this theme only Metamorphable?

I think any theme should be installable through an update.zip, as all you have to do is rewrite the framework-res.apk, services.jar, and all the /system apps that have been themed.

I agree. I know someone has already made a full cm5 rom of Dark Edge but he is waiting for go ahead from Xeudoxus and Real before distributing. So at very least Pete could do the same
