Root Darker Side of Android

So Ive been using *** and wow that app can be dangerous in the wrong hands. I was "experimenting" with it at a local cafe` and without knowing it I shut down all the cash registers and credit card readers. I'm assuming everything was hooked up to a wifi connection (Ill also add that it did NOT have a password on it, so me shutting down the building would be the least of their worries) But I was wondering....what else is out there? I already know about *** and Wifi file explorer. Just to C.M.A myself I'm only using these things for educational purposes. There is this whole side of android that's like the basement of the most sketchiest strip club ever that Id like to explore. :puke:

I do agree that people could be irresponsible with that kinda..."power" but if anything it shows how cleaver the developer is and what android is really capable of. I understand what your concern is but its out there. People are gunna find it. Personally like i said, having a unprotected network processing peoples credit card information is whats really the culprit here. THAT is dangerous stuff. Their lucky it was someone like me rather then somebody that would do something bad about it. Also *** has good uses it got the message across to my neighbor that the Wifi in my house, is not something he should be on. Yes its password protected. With all things its good and evil, a laser can do triple bi-pass surgery...or cut off 007's balls.

Edit: Id also like to add that since you knew what i was talking about obviously you knew what that was and either have used it or read about it so....one wolf cant skin another wolf just because its cold.

nothing new really just adapted to a mobile device. The bad thing is how that store had their wifi setup. Some evil mannered hacker could sit in there just racking up on cc #'s

I haft to be honest, I found it and downloaded this app lol... Needless to say I think a trip to panera bread in the morning is an order. I haft to see if this really works...I cant believe something like this on a cell phone exists.

^THIS is a NO NO.....this is not where i wanted this to go....I was purely asking if there's anything else out there to look at? If you wanna try it, try it in your own home. Don't go to some place and use it there without knowing what it does exactly. You have to be responsible. A mature adult. The only reason I did it at the cafe was because it was a controlled experiment. I wanted to know how far it could go. There was only 3 people in there and no one was getting up to pay so I used it and tried to pay with my card it didn't work. The guy took my card to the other register didn't work during that time i turned on the wifi (making it look like i was sending a text) and asked him to try it again. Next time i go in there ill prob ask to see the manager and tell him how he is sending important information through the air that everyone can see. Also PG thanks, i knew there was going to be some backlash but I was more afraid of 30 people on here telling me off. Henceforth we can continue this conversation as long as we remain adults and understand we are dealing with delicate things here.

@V SuperUser V, your talking about ***. yeah it works but theres a trick, you also can see youtube and twitter and some other passwords.....BE RESPONSIBLE.

also im new so......could you thank it up for a few of the people learning new things here.....Thanks.

2nd off I wouldn't be posting about this type of stuff that could potentially encourage someone to NOT use it for educational purposes.

My thoughts at least.

Mine too.

OP, whilst I appreciate you were "experimenting", you do seem to understand the potential harm these apps can cause. As a consequence, I hope you'll understand why I'm locking this thread.

If you've issue with that, feel free to drop me a PM, my door is open. :)
