Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

If anyone is hoping to get the phone by Friday before the long weekend you need the shipment confirmation by Wednesday. Good luck everyone!

Got my shipping confirmation this evening.
I ordered 5/11.
Phone should be in my hands by tomorrow at 3pm.
Good luck to everyone, and thanks for keeping my company during my wait! :)

Edit: Also, I didn't pay for overnight shipping or enter the code, but I guess they just gave it to me because it shipped today... Nice!
 
Ordered my replacement this afternoon around 4pm and it shipped two hours later this evening.

Lady on the phone was really nice and said she would try and get me it sooner than the 6/11 in the system since I got it on launch day...id say she did that! Made my day thats for sure

And yes I have a fedex # and everything.

As for whats wrong with the phone..ear piece is broke only speaker phone works, random reboots, HTC logo is peeling off(doesnt bother me)

Good job Verizon. There are a bunch of people who ordered before 5/11 who are waiting for confirmations....
 
must be the east coast getting some love. ordered in store, chicago area, 5/10. called today, still no order number, no tracking info, not shipped yet.

for what it's worth, i was told 5/19 when i paid for it, but it's becoming pretty clear that it's almost anybody's guess...

I understand that you are frustrated, as I will be myself soon (I ordered two days after you), but understand that anyone on the phone will only tell you the 'safe' date of the day, which is later with each passing day. You're only confusing yourself by calling them and asking 'is it here yet?' They will always give you the PR date. Stop calling and start waiting. It seems they're shipping out anywhere from 14 to 16 days after the order date. Maybe the supply rate will increase in the next few days. Maybe it'll slow down. All you can do is wait for your prescribed date, which should be two days before mine since you ordered two days before me. So, June 8th. Don't worry about it until June 8th. If it ain't there by then, by all means, freak out and start shaking that fist. Since 5/11 orders are getting shipped out now, you most likely have at least a week longer, if not more.
 
Just got my shipping confirmation its a miracle!! Fedex 2 day out of Ontario, CA and I am in Buffalo, NY. Scheduled to arrive 5/26. I ordered on 5/9 via phone.

When you say just got, do you really mean the email came through at 10:50 your time?

Ordered 5/9 in store (California)
Received shipping notice 5/24 6pm.
Estimated arrival 5/26 by 7pm.
 
Hey, new guy here... Been following this thread for a few days now. Ordered on 5/15 in Philadelphia, PA... I know I still have a little while to wait, and I am ok with that...

My main question is, how many of you billed your account vs. paying outright for the phone... Has this made a difference in the ship dates?

Just got my email confirmation as I was reading this thread. Ordered 5/10 in store. says it will be delivered 5/26!

I understand where your coming from, but the only reason I call them is because I keep gettin an emal that tells me my order status is canceled. Heaven forbid the one time I disregard it and it. actually will be canceled! LOL. That is the ONLY reasn I call. I am human, and like anyone else I don't like feeling that I am being misled. I am a very patient person normally, but like most normal people I to have a boiling point. When I see my order delivery date getting further and further away, and Verizon is still taking orders everyday.... Well I get a bit angry about it.
 
"Will be shipped by date" at that time was 6/10.

I paid at the time of the purchase w/ a credit card. Will let you know if that made a difference compared to those having the phone billed to their VZW account.

Just an fyi.....Received a free 2mb memory card (as has been mentioned here numerous times). Also, I was able to get the "SMART30" rebate applied to my upgrade (will be automatically credited to my account when I activate the phone). If you have any problems here, ask to speak to the Internet Orders dept (though they mentioned the rebate was expiring today 5/24).

I billed mine to my account. I was reassured by the rep on the phone that it wouldn't affect anything. Its still an order whether it gets paid for or billed. So you should get yours the same day as everyone else that ordered that day. You should get yours by June 8th.
 
Congratulations to all the early May-er whom have been waiting and have finally received their ship dates :)
 
Mine came in the mail today in the morning (5/24), but I had it shipped home and I'm not currently at home so I have to wait till the end of this week to get it :/

Package weight = 2 lbs
Came from Ontario, CA

good luck to those still waiting for it! Seems like they're shipping more readily than before.
