Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

So...I hear a vehicle rolling into my driveway and from the sound of it, a BIG vehicle.I peek out the window to see who it is...Lo and behold it is a FEDEX truck!!!!I get to the door the same time the guy knocks...its not my phone. Turns out, an order hubby placed a week ago got shipped from 2 different locations so we will have 2 deliveries on that order and ony got one tracking number so I had no idea a package was showing up today.

Then I thought to myself, there is no way my phone would be here already...I ordered on 6/16 with processing on 6/17 so I shouldnt even think of expecting it until around 7/12-7/15...

Any other people order on 6/6 and feel crappy because people on the east coast who ordered on 6/7 already have their Incredibles? I feel like orders from 6/6 and the western states are getting hit the worst. lucky for me, i'm in both

I can imagine having people who ordered after you getting their phones has to be the most frustrating thing that could happen. The PA warehouse clearly had a large order come in.
 
Ordered 6/5 In Store, Arizona
ESD 6/25 Overnight for Delivery on 6/28
Received call from VZ saying phone Shipped 6/30 and would arrive 7/1
Also was notified I would receive the 25 dollar credit for the store.
 
Hi everyone, order date 6/18 here...so i'll be getting this phone when the iphone comes out for vz.

My ship date originally read 7/16, sent a quick email to verizon and here is what I got (seems more and more people are seeing this).

Well, on my way home from work I am in the car telling my son about the message from Verizon and how I am fed up and thinking I will cancel my order and get a Droid X... at that exact moment, the CSR from the Verizon store calls me and says he just wanted to let me know that my DInc has shipped and I should have it by Friday. Go figure!;)

I got him to e-mail me the tracking number and, sure enough there is a package on the way from Memphis.

Yeah, us 8'ers are hungry for some action.
I had sent CSR an email about my order, related to something other than the b/o issue and they mostly addressed the b/o situation, saying that it will ship on or before 7/7. Whatever!

Thanks. I was getting extremely frustrated at the thought that I might not get it for my trip this weekend. I am leaving Friday so I was starting to wonder if I could pick it up from a fedex location before I left.

I hope they can catch up and get everyones orders on time or before the dates again. Good luck to all those still waiting.

:p You gotta go with what seems to work. Of course I am not sure if it was the bitching or the fact that I vowed not to change my underwear or socks until it came...:rolleyes:

Bwahahaha.... My family is already pissed at me for talking Dinc day in and out. Now if I start refusing to change clothes they will definitely disown me.
 
First post! I've watched silently since usually on my iphone and this site is blocked at work (stupid websense).

Anyways:

Ordered in store AZ: 6/6 10am
Obviously Expected Date: 6/28
Received $25 email: 6/29 (like midnight)
Shipping: We'll see!

Who would have thought that ordering online on the 6th would be like staying on the 13th floor in a hotel. The elevator stops on the 12th floor and the 14th, but not the 13th. I didn't realize that WA. state had been sucked into a black hole. :D

I know the video is at 360p (progressive) but it does look like some artifacting or interlacing blur. Surely VZW have learned their lesson to not give a specific date after the DI drama.
 
Congrats to all receiving their emails with shipping info, but.......................................... WHERE IS MY MOFOIN DINC!?!?!?!?! THIS SUCKS WATCHING ALL THESE 6/7S GO OUT! if we get notice tomorrow, we wont get until 7/6! BS! BS! BS! Verizon, i poo on your head!

:( so i am guessing that is all BS?

Also if any one knows if i have to walk in the 15th *the day the Droid X is SUPPOSED to be released" And get one? any thoughts on that? i Heard you cant pre order it.. Beacuse of this Crazy drama with the Dinc... I ordered my Dinc on the 6/26... so i am not going to wait 2 months for out dated technology... :D

So far, Best Buy is the only place taking Pre Oreders
