Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

have you tried the battery trick? where when you charge it while its open, when it goes green, unplug it, turn it off, and plug it back in while its off and it'll charge an extra 20% supposedly...

i'll be doing this when i receive mine

When I first started following this thread it was usually at least in their hands on the stated shipment day. That all came to a screeching halt when they hit the June 1st orders. Since then any hopes of me getting it early have gone away.

anyone w/ a 6/5 order date get notification yet? i will not call cs again, they either get my hopes up or shatter it...i really hope we get them before the holiday weekend! just cause my little bro is an apple fanboy and he is going to be gloating over the new iphone and i would like to have the dinc in my hands to resist the urge! ( i am a recovered apple fangirl) well actually still working the steps , lol!

Called bump charging....... there is a thread on how to do this correctly. It seemed to help me the first time I tried it.
 
Glad to hear Verizon is letting people get refunds if so desired once their shipping date has passed per the FTC rule. Sounds like after a day or two of non-compliance they have started to shape up.

On a lighter note, I saw my first Incredible in the wild today, at wal-mart. Suprised, even though I am going from a 3.2 to 3.7 screen, it is skinnier and lighter than my phone now, actually seems a little smaller! But definitely a beautiful screen, can't wait, only a few more days for me thankfully!

6/3er here and have not received a notification at this time. I am seeing these 6/4 and 6/5er getting shipped and am getting mad about their Dinc shipping before mine.

With that said congrats all that have had their Dinc that has been shipped.

Can i tell you how I think it's also ridiculous and this probably a big contributing factor in why there was a shortage... So many people are canceling, a month out ordering.. I wonder how long it takes to get back to the warehouse and then re-routed to the next customer.

Geez...thats tempting, you can always bust into fedex tonight...lol. Well mine should be shipping from west chester too...just got a text from CSR..."no tracking number as of 2:05pm" on 6/26. Grrr...

BP, I thought of the X too, but I really don't want a bloody accountants calculator in my pocket. I have a macbook for that. I'm sticking it out for the dinc- slim, sweet, sexy and potent! (sounds like an old GF) :rolleyes:

Well I actually canceled my order, at least that's what the CSR told me. Guess what showed up on at my door and was excepted by my son two week later? Turned out for the best. I returned a more expensive Dinc and now my 30 days extends until 7/18 so if I want the X I can still exchange it, which I plan to do.

well I was told that also but when she went and double checked she said if you bring it to a VW store (not no of those fake vw stores) they can do it. I have it all noted in the phone call in my records so if they give me some BS I'm going to raise hell :eek:

The CSR didn't say anything to me about it not having any use. Matter of fact she said it worked outs good because I wouldn't have to activate my old phone for a short while but could continue using it until the 15th.

Why do I have a funny feeling this is going to be a big mess when I show up and the VW store?
 
So I called *611 and spoke to a CSR who "looked" up my order and said that my phone was due out ship out today. She said that since I paid for overnight delivery, it should be here on Monday morning. I wasn't aware that Fedex shipped on Saturdays....so I'll believe what she said when I see my phone on Monday morning
