Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

I am a 6/6 expecting shipping today but after getting no notifications I called 611. The CSR told me that my order will ship out tomorrow or Wednesday
 
I'd be pissed as well. I would talk to them about credits and such. I was lucky enough to get a rep that gave me a 35.00 credit. Then gave me free data (30.00 Value) off my next month's bill. Give them hell, I know I would be furious!

I tried, but the rep I had was a complete lop. Nice though. If I don't get some sort of info tonight or tomorrow I'm going to demand some sort of compensation. Then go the vzw store taze the manager (Don't taze me brah!) and enact a citizens arrest, then sue Verizon for sexual discrimination, because they wont ship me my phone cause I'm a man!
 
Im halfway down with my wait maybe depending on what spectrum of reality im in The verizon one or the real time one but o well 6/13 and only 14 more days left

It saddens me i wont be able to rub the much better DInc in his iphone 3g's face on july 4 :(
 
I ordered on 6/5. I called Verizon this afternoon and my Incredible has not shipped. She said some phones (not all) with ship dates prior to 6/28 were experiencing 5-day delays. My CSR was very friendly and helpful but couldn't give me many more specifics beyond that, like whether my Incredible was in that 5-day group.

After spending quite a bit of time researching it today, I'm considering canceling my Incredible order and waiting for the Droid X. My Verizon CSR confirmed what I've read elsewhere: that the Droid X can not be pre-ordered and you can only get it in stores on the 15th.

She did give me the option of canceling my Incredible order on the spot, "returning to sender" upon delivery, or returning the package to the store with no restocking fee if it is unused.

So I'm debating what to do. I may just let the Incredible arrive just to allow more time for this to shake out.

I like the idea of appbrain and I think it works well for a lot of ppl based on what I have read on other threads..

Ok i couldn't resist and called today even though my ship date is supposed to be tomorrow (I ordered on 6/9). He said he had no tracking info and wouldn't know when it would ship. I asked about a bill credit if it goes out late and he said they couldn't do that but they would allow me to cancel the order and they would reimburse my card. Not that I want to do that, I just want my phone!

where did you see ur ship date is supposed to be tomorrow? im a 6/8er and i havent received anything in my email ever. for some reason i think id be lucky to get it before the weekend.
 
6/7 confirmed order date, with a ship date of 6/28, just called Verizon to get my tracking number and guess what no tracking information
I got the same "shipments could be delayed up to 5 days" (surprise, surprise) :eek:
I guess I will be sticking w/AT&T awhile longer :mad:
 
New to the thread but still waiting. Called 611 today and said nothing had been processed or shipped yet. What a bunch of know-nothings! I placed my order at 6/5 in the store and have no clue what is stopping me from wanting the X besides the fact I have been waiting for the Dinc for nearly 3 weeks. Considering I ordered the phone before I was done with my chemotherapy and always wondered which would come first: my last session or the arrival of my phone.

Welcome to the pit. I've lately been wondering which will come first, the Dinc or a flock of wild geese flying out my @$$

6/6 order date, called CS and they said no ship yet... i said well that sucks blah blah blah

then they offered me an upgrade on my other line. I said no thanks to what else can you do for me?

then they gave me a $20 credit LOL .... and still said it might ship today, yeah right.

I can't believe you have read though this thread and decided to vent with us lol. Welcome to the pit. Hope you get your Dinc soon so mine will be around the next corner.
 
I just want to throw my Dare in a fire. I still can't believe the VZ store manager promised I'd get it within a week of ordering. Dammit I can't believe I didn't research it. Blah, is it legal to own a taser in NY? :/ Oh who am I kidding, I'd go to beat up the manager and end up on the counter in the fetile position screaming "I want my dinc!!" Is it possible to get PTSD from a month long battle with Verizon? I've seen things man, things you wouldnt believe..

I have no clue....does not make sense to me but it has not moved since it arrived at the FedEx location on Jun 27, 2010 1:15 PM.....grrrrrrrrr.....I guess that is how it turns into 3 days....
 
On 6/22, the CSR...
couldn't tell me anything about my 6/9 order, saying "Our system doesn't have info on orders before 6/11". She said 6/11 orders would be shipping on 7/9, so my 6/9 order would probably ship a couple of days earlier.

On 6/25, a different CSR confirmed...
Order date: 6/10
Promised shipping date: 6/30
Location: New England
After that call, I completed their phone survey, complaining that I'd been given two completely different dates, and one appeared to be made up.

Today, 6/28, Mr. Manager calls, apologizes, and re-confirms 1) that my 6/10 order will ship on 6/30, and 2) I'll get an email confirming it.

...riiiiiiiight.

Iv'e been following this thread for several pages now and still haven't seen anyone who actually received their phone. I'd like to know:

Who received - received - their Inc today? If you did, when did you place your order?

So far all I've read is a bunch of people complaining (rightly) and sharing fedex info and CSR stories.

PS I'm a 6/8-er. Promised 6/29.
 
I couldnt' help it, I called about my phone again. They told me that the most they've seen is two day delays and that my phone should ship out tomorrow at the latest. Because of my wait, he gave me a 30.00 credit towards a new case and screen protectors for my phone. This is in addition to the 60.00 in credits they gave me towards my bill. I would advise everyone to b*tch and b*tch some more to get a little bonus for your wait! It all depends on the CSR you get, if one won't give you a credit, don't be afraid to call again. :)

I've asked for compensation with several different representatives and ALL of them refused to give me any kind of credit/compensation. And I've been a customer since 2004 also, you'd think they'd give me SOMETHING for all those years of loyalty.
