Lets face it....they are clueless and it is really the fault of management for not letting them know how to communicate the delays and problems....and also HTC for not communicating properly with Verizon on the issue.....I can see meeting after meeting taking place over this miss.

Oh yeah - my saga did continue last night....when trying to activate the phone it kept dropping my call. I moved outside figuring maybe the AC was screwing with me (? couldn't figure out what else it might be) but still did it. Then I realized I would have to do the most dreaded thing to all of us....Call CSR. AAAAAHHHHHHHHH! Amazingly enough I got a very helpful woman, who then told me that my phone was on the account but that I had to accept the terms and conditions.....after several tries and having to go back to the blackberry twice we finally got the DInc started.
Lesson - just cause it's in your hands does not mean that you are done having to deal with CSR.

If I were a 6/5 I believe I'd be completely livid right now, but seeing as I'm a 6/7 I'm only borderline livid.All joking aside, believe me, I feel your frustration.

Ordered online 6/5 in Nashville TN with a scheduled ship by date of 6/25. I have still not received an email of any type, either tracking info or $25 gift card or anything else.
Called 6/28 and was told since I hadn't received a tracking email I should assume I was affected by a delay of up to 10 days but there was no way for them to check and that I might receive the phone this week. They suggested I call back in a few days.
Called back this morning and the CSR noted right away it should have shipped on the 25th but as of right now there's no information available as to when it might ship. He said they were originally told there was up to a 5 day delay possible on some orders but they were recently told up to a 10 day delay is now possible. I'm not too hopeful about it but he said since today was 5 days since my order was supposed to ship that MAYBE it would go out today (he didn't sound like he was all that hopeful about it either to be honest). Again, no way of knowing or for him to check if it might go out today or later this week or even as late as the end of next week. Basically it could go out any time between now and then with no warning and no way of them being able to intervene in any way.
Both CSRs I spoke to were very nice but really had no information at their disposal to give me (other than the possible 10 day delay which the guy today said was the latest info) and seemingly no way to check for any further updates. Obviously at this point I'm affected by some sort of additional delay so I don't understand why they can't get a list of those phones that should have shipped but haven't and have those sent out. I know from reading here and other forums that phones with my order date have shipped to Middle TN and now I'm seeing phones ordered a few days after me starting to ship.
I didn't inquire about cancelling the order or any credits to my account but he did say he could change my delivery address if it doesn't ship this week, although I think I'll probably leave it alone since that might just cause more problems. It will make it extremely inconvenient for me to pick up my package if it comes next week though.

No tracking email, no we're sorry here's a crummy gift card email.

As a 6/09er I just seem to get more depressed with each line I read.

I got no complaints, that was more of a reality check really. Can't expect ANY device to be completely perfect, I remember when i thought my omnia was the best thing since sliced breadWhew.....glad to hear it!


Just received an email from Verizon saying that all 6/7 orders will ship by 6/29 with a 5 to 10 day delay
