Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

The seven day delay is seven business days. That means, for you and I (I also was supposed to have my phone shipped today) it could be shipped as late as 7/12, assuming they don't delay it again.
 
Well mine isn't scheduled to be shipped till July 13th so for all I know I won't get it till the Incredible 2 is out, but at least the anticipation is making for a lot of happy people when they finally get their phone.

Ah, they trick you on that one. It's a long weekend too which is making it even more ridiculous. :\

It's a big marketing scam by VZ. After you wait a month or more you are happy no matter what you get. Even if it's a blanket, two sticks and a match.

Woke up this morning and the first email I read was from Verizon so I got a bit excited...only to read the whole extra delay + $25 gift card message. At that point I was fully discouraged and wasn't expecting the phone any earlier than after the long weekend... especially since I'd only seen maybe 1 other 6/7 report having received a tracking number yesterday...but to my delightful surprise I got the tracking info around 1.30 pm and felt what can only be described as an elated sense of relief...

I'm Incredibly excited for tomorrow!

Yeah, I was excited this morning after seeing a message from Verizon in my inbox. However, my message was just to let me know of the delay. No discounts like everyone else is getting. This company hates me. :eek:

It took for what felt like an eternity but I'm happy to say that I've just received my shipping notification!!! Here are my order stats:

Order Date: 6/7
Ship By Date: 6/28
Actual Shipping Date: 6/30
Estimated Delivery: 7/2 before 7 pm

Shipping from West Chester, PA to Northern VA

After endless hours of hanging out in the forums, reading reviews as well as the online User's Guide, playing with that damn Verizon Incredible simulator and watching Dinc YouTube videos to pass the time, the wait is finally over!! And I have all my fellow hostages to thank for keeping me sane in the process. We just have to continue to hang in there everyone, especially my fellow 6/7'ers... There IS hope! :D:D

Unfortunately I'm not gonna be home on Friday until AFTER the estimated delivery time :( so I might have to leave Fedex a note to see if they'll release it!... But kinda nervous to do that!

Oh my goodness.....so many on this page with shipping info....I leave to get my phone and all these people get shipping notices.....I'm so excited I'm so excited I'm so excited I'm so excited....lolol...watching mine charge as I type....got it activated in the store and contacts transfered from poor old phone....turned it off.....drove home....cooking dinner and watching it charge....lolol

LOL.... I'd be staring at it for the rest of the night! Charge faster, charge faster!!! Hell I'd probably never get it fully charged as I'd be playing with it while it was plugged in!

lol...I know....I keep walking by looking at it going hurry up.....but problem is that we go to bed so early around here because of husbands schedule that I probably will not actually turn it on till morning...
