Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Today I want to see my shipping notice!!! 6/8 and thinking positively, possibly a little naive on this issue. I can dream though.
Everytime someone other than omshivashankara gets their shipping notice, a baby kitten dies!
(i swear that never gets old:D:D)

I thought i had decided to stick with the Inc (havent got it tho), but i have read a few reports that the Inc has signal problems and the X has better signal.... this is kinda a big deal to me as i will be using it hunting alot and will be in remote spots....

Anyone have any major issues with the Inc's signal?? As long as it is equal to or better than my current curve, ill be fine
My signal's been great, 0 dropped calls, and no interference problems! Even when showing no bars!! I read there was a problem with the bars showing not being your actual signal quality. Only way to know for sure is Menu>Settings>About Phone>Network. for ACTUAL signal quality.
 
BL, I think it's quite possible you'll get yours tomorrow. Will probably take the same path as mine which went from West Chester, to Coatesville, to the sorting facility at Dulles. Mine was supposed to be delivered tomorrow but is making its way out today to Northern VA.

That would be great!! sorry to hear about you missing yours. Luckily my wife is home with the kids so she'll be able to sign for it if it does show up tomorrow.

robbyslady or whoever else has gotten their Dinc, how's the Gtalk on it?? Just something I'm worrying bout .. I have a BlackBerry now & what I love is how fast the Blackberry Messenger is on it. I hope Gtalk is just as fast.

Have not used it yet....sorry!....so much to do and see...lol...and I have to try to work in there sometime

I've been lurking here I think since before I ordered my phone (6/9). I don't even close out of this page on my computer, I just keep it up & constantly hit refresh.

I'm taking my nursing boards on Saturday and if I spent half as much time studying as I do reading this forum, then I'd be in good shape for my test. I feel like my whole entire life is on hold for two reasons: 1. Taking my NCLEX Saturday. 2. Until I get my phone.

This will be my first smartphone and I cannot wait to get it. I'm not very good at being patient either. My husband & kids can't wait until I get my phone either so I'll shut up about it but I keep telling them they'll just be hearing about all the cool things it can do - when I do finally get it!

No shipping email as of yet - hoping for today

Come on 7/12.....Only 12 days and 1 hour to go till my "ship date"

What was your order date Jeff? I ordered in store on 6/15 and they gave me a 7/12 ship date. I'm hoping with all the recent shipments that they are getting caught up a bit.
 
I caved an called CSR again to check the status as it is now 2 days late. After being told of the shipping delay (finally) yesterday and still having 2 days shipping, now there is still a delay but somehow I got upgraded to overnight shipping. This is after being told that this was not possible. My original ship no later than date was 6/29 and now she said the last possible day it would ship is 7/8 with it being in my hands on 7/9 at the absolute latest.

I still have not gotten an email about the $25 credit but she assured me I would get it...
 
I was okay when I was 6/7's shipping yesterday. I was even happy to see them ship! It meant I was one step closer to victory. I see several 6/8's going out today, which makes me even happier (being a 6/8 myself). But wait... What's this I see? A 6/9? sigh...

In other news, I called my friendly neighborhood VZW CSR to inquire as to why my promised ship date of 6/28, I mean 6/30, I mean 7/1 was not being met. I was told that my ship date was 7/9 and explained that I was promised ship dates of 6/28, 6/30 and 7/1. She explained the 5 day delay and I calmy turned around in my seat and looked and my GIANT WALL CALENDAR and counted the days. I'm no calculus major, but 7/1 to 7/9 is NOT five days. She THEN said it was five business days. I could have taken it further and gone off of my first date and said that 6/28 to 7/9 is actually eight business days (even taking into account the long weekend) but I just dropped it.

I went into this phone call with the intention of not letting go of the CSR until I left claw marks in him or her. Unfortunately about halfway through the call I realised that this woman (Natalia) actually seemed to care and sincerely wanted to help me. Every time I asked her a question she would research it for a few moments on her computer before answering me, at least giving me the impression that she was looking something up. This caused me to retract my claws momentarily, but ultimately Verizon has still screwed me and deserves to pay for it.

I told her that I had given Verizon an interest-free $300 loan with the promise that in a given period of time something would be given to me in return. That promise has not been met and something needs to be done about it. She told me that I could cancel the order if I wanted to and get my money back. I said Oh, absolutely not! I've waited this long, I can wait another week. The problem here is that, I lived up to my end of the deal and Verizon has not. In the end, I got a whole $25 credit on my bill... I would have been happier with the 10% for 6 months like I've seen one or two ther people get, but hey, it's a start.

To my pleasant surprise he told me that my account had just been updated with shipping info. He provided me with a tracking number and sure enough my phone is on it's way. Of course my sales rep screwed me and put in 2 day shipping so I won't be receiving until the 7/6.
Either way I'm thrilled to be close to the finish line and I think I'll drink myself into oblivion all weekend so I don't have to think about my precious new "incredible"
 
so I ordered in store 6/8 (early afternoon) but the lady charged my order to my account, so I ended up paying on 6/17.
She told me I would recieve it "in a couple weeks" (ha, right). But now I'm starting to wonder, am i a 6/8 or a 6/17?!?!:confused: CSR on the phone just says, "yep, you ordered on 6/8", well duh.
So, pretty much, I guess I'll get it when I get it. Just sucks I see all these 6/8, 6/9 getting there phones, and I don't have a clue when to even expect mine.:(
I guess as long as I get it before my rebate expires...I'll live

Hang in there, guys. There were folks getting their notifications yesterday and I didn't think by that late in the day I'd be seeing anything, but lo and behold the email showed up around 4 pm EST. Better late than never.
 
Been watching this and another Incredible forum since I ordered but was never the register and post type. But I felt the need to do it as I've seen SO MANY familiar names get their shipping dates and phones. I know this sounds weird, but it is a sort of sentimental, as I've heard and felt your angst for the last month. To those who got theirs, I'm really happy for you. For myself, I am a 6/6 order date with nothing. I did get the gift card email, but that's it. I'm in upstate NY, so the whole East Coast thing gets theirs first is bubkus.
So, I'll wait and watch this thread as I have religiously for the last few weeks and hope for the best.

The best part of all of this is now KNOWING I'm not alone in my obsession. I've laughed so hard reading these posts...thanks.

I'm in the same boat. NOTHING. Ordered on June 6th over the phone (Not online) talking to a real person who took my order. I got an order number. Since then all I've gotten are as many different answers as the number of people I have talked to. Day before Yesterday and then yesterday I got two different answers. One said shipping overnight Today at the latest. The second said 10 days after the 29th which is about a week from now. This morning, I talked to yet another person who said shipping July 5th. Can I get a straight answer????

so what happens if we dont receive our phones by the time the rebate expires?

do they extend the rebate period since we didn't even receive our phones by expiration?

TIA, too lazy to search if this has been addressed before.
