Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

to everybody thinking of cancelling...

i thought about it too, though my delay was only 2-3 days
IT IS WORTH THE WAIT!!!!!
had it for 2 days so far, learn something new everyday
and to top it off, yahoo finally released their own mail apps, so im a happy camper!
 
This is awesome to see so many getting notifications and receiving there phones! I don't think in all the time I've been following this forum have I seen so many receiving notification and phones or is it just me? This may be due to so many going to the X or maybe HTC finally got there hands on some screens!

Officially 14 days until I might see my Dinc....

Ordered online: 6/16
Order processed: 6/17
When ordered the online thing said:"will ship by 7/8"
After processing was informed no ship until: 7/12
1 Week later get an email stating shipping now: 7/15

No notices, no further emails, texts or calls. Wish they would get their crap together...

On a happier note, Congratulations to everyone who got their phones/shipping notifications/tracking numbers...you are all dying a very slow and painful death in my mind...lol

Of course the problem is that it is 2 day shipping over a holiday weekend!... I could drive to west Chester in 20 min! Now I have to pray that by some stroke of luck they'll deliver it overnite just because they can....

Oh....the torture!

I feel your pain I'm in the same boat with you I'm a 6/16er and they said mine would ship 7/14. We'll see how true this holds up!!!!
 
Ok, so on the verizon forum, there are a couple of 6/10's that have shipped. East coast. I am in California but this is good news (well its close to good news)! Someone warned me earlier and now I see exactly how right they were - the waiting as you get closer to the ship date is definitely worse than the waiting right after you order it. :)
 
I just ordered mine for Amazon. I paid full price for my VZW order (6/12 in store), and am paying Amazon the same price. I will have it on July 7th. a full week before I should get it from VZW (at least by the promised ship date). Since I will be out of town when the phone arrives, I'm actually going to get it 9 days earlier!!

On my way to cancel my order with Verizon.
 
Can someone tell me if I'm better off ordering an Incredible on-line, over the phone, or in the store? I have finally decided thats the phone I want, and now I'd like to find the fastest way to actually get it. thanks!
 
6/6 upstate NY and still nothing. :(

It's not the size so much of hte X that's making me stay with the INC as much as it is CNET's Review. They've always done me right, that website.

It really is. I was always checking this site before, but now I'm like a crackhead on the phone every few hours with CS. This is killing me. Being home on summer vacation (I teach 1st grade) isn't helping because I'm able to watch the internet WAY TOO MUCH at this point.

6/6 NY and nothing to show for it.

I just ordered mine from Verizon and will have it on Wednesday, July 7th. That seems to be the fastest way right now.
 
For what it is worth, I just got my tracking number texted to me on my new Motorala Droid that I picked up yesterday :-). The dinc is due in tomorrow. I am going to wait to see how the droid does for reception at my cabin but I am pretty sure the Dinc is going back unless the reception is worse than my wifes Incredible. We'll see. Anyway it will sit in the box a few days. Wonder if I should just refuse shipment?

Oh yea btw 6-7 order date.

Ok, this is my first post but I have been reading this thread almost daily for about 2 weeks now. I am a 6/5.

Order Date: 6/5 by phone
original ship date: 6/25
original receive: 6/28
Location: West TN about 60 miles directly north of Memphis

I have called CSR's many times in the last week with all the same bullcrap answers as everyone else on here. I did talk a supervisor into 10% off my bill for the next six months which ='s about $65. I also received the $25 email about 2 days ago.

I don't understand why some people who ordered from 6/6 and after have received their phones but some of us who ordered from 6/5 and 6/4, 6/3 etc have not????

Still NO tracking number or your phone has shipped email!

Well, just got the email!
Good news and bad news...
The good is the phone is officially on it's way. The bad is that I was lied to about overnight shipping and it is coming two day, and with the weekend and holiday it will arrive on Tuesday, so here's to the longest few days. Man, I will be happy when this is all over with. I shouldn't complain though. So,

7/1 tracking number confirmed
7/6 potential arrival in upstate NY

I just ordered my Inc on the 6/28th. I was waiting for my NE2 to order and actually wasn't even eligible until 7/25 but I called CS and asked if there was any way I could go ahead and order since there was a month wait anyway. I also gave the guy a sob story about how my BB was dying and probably wouldn't make it another month, which is true. So he went ahead and changed my upgrade day to that day so I could order online right then. I went ahead and ordered (my supposed ship date is 7/27) but after I did that I decided to check one of the Verizon stores here to see if they had any Inc. I walked in and they guy was so ugggg. He was like no, we don't have any Inc and won't until 7/27. Then he proceeded to tell me that the X would be out by the 15th and that it was just like the Inc but had a bigger screen. I was like seriously? :rolleyes: I've been drooling over the Inc since they came out and the only reason I don't have one right now is b/c I wasn't eligible for my upgrade when they came out.
 
I ordered mine on 6/5 from the Verizon Store. I was told it would ship on or before 6/24. On 6/24 I was told it was shipping that day. On Monday the 27th I was told it did not ship and would ship within 5 days. Yesterday I received an e-mail that it shipped and would arrive today by 3:00. I just heard the doorbell. The FedEx man is here. Gotta go...............
