Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Ordered 6/27 in store.

Nothing yet.....

My Blackberry Curve is Rebooting itself yet again.... I can't wait for my new phone :(
 
Hey y'all, it's getting close to me so I'd figure I'd join in the fun and post my stats. I've been lurking on this particular thread for the last week, because I'm really really REALLY obsessed. ;) Presently using a BB 8703E that's dying and I can't WAIT to get my freakin' Incredible. ;)

Ordered in store 6/29, likely processed on 6/30
Promised ship date 7/27
No 611 so far as I can tell, I did call them once and was forced to hang up before I got to the menu, so it might have given me the pending activation message and I just didn't know.

When we ordered, they were pushing the Droid X really hard at the time. Like, really hard. Like, wouldn't shut up about the Droid X for an hour. It's wise to keep in mind that those folks in the stores are getting paid commissions, and it wouldn't be terribly surprising if they were trying to divert folks from the Incredible due to the shortage issues. Of course, the Droid X faces the same fate now! ;)

It's funny how these things work out.

Can't be much longer, can it? lol :)

they could always discontinue the phone before we get it, give you a credit, and then you have to buy an X.

Oh I'd be so annoyed. ;P I guess there's no solid reason to believe that they wouldn't do that, but I don't think they will.

At least, let's hope us folks that WANT it aren't disappointed.

there is no way at all that they will discontinue this phone any time soon. It was just in a NY Times (or wall street journal... I don't remember) article. I read it this morning. Spoke very favorably of the dinc. There's no reason to discontinue it.

Howdy; new to AF here. I, like JohnnyBlace ordered on 7/1; EST ship by date 7/29. No word yet. Since some seem to be getting notices ~5 days prior to their EST time, I'll see what happens at the end of this week.

Question; When calling *611, Do you have to choose a menu where it will inform you of a pending activation or does it automatically just tell you?

pending activation comes up right after the english spanish option, you dont have to press anything. you only get it one time.
 
just saw on other forum 6/28 online is going out after being told yesterday that ship date was 7/27. That is a seven day improvement, more than the 3-5 we have seen.

If I had seven day improvement, i will see it next Wednesday, sigh, another week of accomplishing nothing as I am obsessed with this.
 
It will be interesting to see if there's any 6/29 or 6/30's shipped today. I feel like such a stalker, refreshing this and two other forums just waiting for a response. Y'know, instead of actually working.

What, boss, why are you glaring at me...? ;)

this forum has the best info, the other sites dont say much.

i do the same thing, this is the only one where i have an account though, but i have to agree this one definitely gets the most traffic

I emailed cs last night (I hate calling them and having them awkwardly tell me "no, miss, your phone hasn't shipped yet"), explaining that I got the *611 message, and this was the reply:
"...I hate to disappoint you, but your phone will likely not ship until August 2nd. I apologize for the inconvenience, but really appreciate your patience so far."

Right after I come back from my vacation...:(
 
Hang in there, everyone! I just got my dinc yesterday and it is SOOOO worth the agonizing wait!!!!

This weekend I plan to trash my bberry curve, Office Space style. :)
