Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

on sunday i had the pending activation message and now i dont have it anymore and ive tried to call verizon everyday with them telling me there is no shipping info available! anyone else have this?? i ordered on 6/30.

just a quick questiom i ordered in-store on 6/28 so im hoping it,ll ship sometime soon but as i understand it i wont recieve an email notification because i ordered in-store so would i have to call cs for an update?

Let me just say that even if you call, it might not matter. On 7/16, I emailed AND called CS and they told me my phone would ship by 7/21. 2 hours later that same day, I got my shipping notification and received my phone yesterday.

In store reps are IDIOTS. They should shut down all stores.

I agree that they are idiots a lot of the time. But I only get a new phone every two yrs, 1.5 yrs this time because I am upgrading. So I want to be able to look around and see the phones they have and what will be the best phone for me. Upgrading to the DInc was easy and I knew I was going to get it without going in the store. But maybe next time it won't be such a clear choice.

The commission is getting ridiculous though because older people are getting phones they have no clue how to use and then the call center is swamped with people who never should of had that phone in the first place.

I came home from work (after just posting a while ago) and my wife had a big smile on her face and there in my recliner was a box - and in the box was my Incredible!

In store order 6/28
Dont know when it was shipped (don't care either)
Never received notice via email
but the lovely little phone is in my hands on 7/20!

talk to you in 8 hours.

*twitchtwitch*

I feel like a druggie who's close to getting his fix...this is sad. I need to distract myself otherwise I'm going to go nuts. that's a day before my in store order!

Although now I actually have a real question. I know there's a lot of speculation on the whole battery life issue, but is it necessary for a modern battery to get a full charge in before usage? I know some of the initial battery problems have something to do with the phone synching to the battery...can anyone give an explanation why a full battery charge is necessary? (So I can convince myself when I have the box in my greedy little hands) ;)

convincement: so your phone doesn't have a 6-hour stand-by battery life for the rest of the time you have it.

congrats, a lot of people are gonne be surprised, they are coming!

if you had gotten the eris you would have been extremely dissapointed lol. It was a very slow phone compared to what is basically new standard which is 1Ghz.

Oh, I did get the Eris...for two weeks. Debated for about a week before returning it. It seemed to be one of the good ones. I just didn't like the idea of keeping a phone for two years the was no longer sold/supported from almost day one.

/hoping I get lucky and get my Incredible next week =P

Glad to see someone else ordered as late as I did

There are a few of us. We just get lost in the chatter from all those who ordered back in June!

I was all set to get the X, but decided I just didn't like the size/shape. So after playing around in the store, I went back to work and ordered the Incredible...

I'm just hoping they actually ship ours by 8/3 like the website said.

Same here hopefully i get it before the 10th as im switching over from the iphone 4 and my 30 day period with the iphone runs out on the 13th and i have to keep my iphone activated until the incredible gets here and i can port my number over.

why r u switching from the iphone??

mostly the service since where i work in new york att has very poor service while verizon always has bars and the overall build of the iphone always has me on edge that it will either crack or scratch if i put it down incorrectly. I had a chance to play with my friends incredible and i really liked where android has come as i used to be a droid eris owner. Plus with froyo coming out i feel like the only difference between the iphone and android is the app catalog which will eventually even out.

wonder how Brian is making out with his phone, i knew he would never post again once he got his phone.

LOL! Okay so I was catching up in the thread, and had to quote this and skip to the end. I still don't have my phone! It's coming tomorrow! And I told you I'd still be here! I was at work 11-5, I still haven't checked the Fedex website to see where it is.
