Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Got a feeling that HTC is going to be working overtime this holiday weekend to get as many of these to Verizon to ship...

Looks like the average wait from order to ship date is about 14 - 15 days...

So, here's hoping that the 5/17 group see something before the end of next week!

Woo! Just used the FedEx Reference Number search and saw that it shipped! Details below:

Ordered: Friday, 5/14 at Downtown Chicago Verizon Store

Paid Credit Card on the Spot, Charge posted on 5/17

FedEx Shipped: Thursday Evening, 5/27, 2-Day service

Schedule Delivery: 6/1

Coming from: Memphis

Long time lurker of this thread. Ordered online 5/14 about noon. Got an e-mail today at 6:20PM that it shipped out of Memphis. I live in northwest Louisiana.

I just got my shipping email. I ordered at 11pm on May 13th so it was processed on the 14th. Anyway, phone shipped out from Memphis today and will be here in Chicago by 3pm tomorrow. Good luck to everyone else waiting.:D
 
so they've done 5/9 through 5/14 this week. i suppose they will do 5/15 through 5/19 next week (perhaps even less, accounting for memorial day), assuming the supply chain stays constant. Those of us who ordered on 5/20 may have to wait for another two weeks.
 
All these posts saying you got email confirmations makes me a little nervous. My phone shipped today. I can see by the fedex reference number. Wonder why I never got an email. I know for sure that my email is set-up right. I get notifications from Verizon.

i cant imagine that htc or verizon will be shut down for 3 days even if fed ex dosnt run deliverys. hopefully the 3 days will alow them to get a good chunk of the backorders taken care of and tue. and wed. we will see many many "i got mine" posts

Not ALL of 5/14 have shipped. My order included... :(
 
FWIW Best buy is in the same boat as the rest of us that ordered their phone after it went back order. they are only recivig phones that have already been purchased. so it doesnt matter where you go your gonna wait.

Did you read what I posted?

If you don't have an order placed and find a Best Buy with an Incredible, they let you walk in there and buy it.

They aren't getting the phones and going "oh well sorry you can't buy it because we're waiting for some guy who ordered it a month ago to come in and pick it up"
 
I've been following this topic for awhile, and love the fact that there's other people out there that were in my position. I registered on this site just so I could get a word in. :)

I live in Oregon, and ordered the Incredible on 5/13 online, and just got the email saying it's going to arrive tomorrow at around 4:30.

The website said the phone would arrive on 6/2, and it turned out to 5/28.
Let this give hope to those still waiting. :)
 
Another 5/14 waiting! Should have it early next week...

Checked email, got a fedex shipping notice, got REALLY excited... It was my wife's stupid bridesmaid dress! :mad:

Dammit, still waiting...:rolleyes:

chumpy of course i read what you said its unfortunate for you that you apparently only hear/read what you want to read and only know what you have heard/read

best buy has been out of stock for quite a while now with the exception of a very few people that have gotten extremely lucky and have found a store that had one left in stock.

and just so you know best buy most certainly will not sell you a phone that someone else has already purchased and hasnt picked up yet. could you imagine going into a store to pick up an item you purchased that had to be ordered and upon returning to the store to pick up the ordered item them tell you "oh im sorry chumpy i just sold the item you ordered to another guy ten minutes ago youll have to reorder"

i am happy for you that u were one of the lucky ones that were able to get your phone with out waiting. i would like to personaly hand you the cookie that you are so desperatly beging for because you already have your phone and i dont. please enjoy!!!!

Shipped Priority Overnight: 5/27
Expected by 10:30 a.m. 5/28

Received my shipment email from Verizon 9:30 this evening (5/27)
Original estimated ship date: 6/1
FedEx Overnight from Memphis to Omaha; says it will be here by 3 p.m. tomorrow!

ok here is my story maybe some can use this i ordered 5/17 and was told june 1st well i call everyday and they just keep pushing it back so cs says...
mine is coming from memphis i suppose i live 100 miles from memphis but when i called i said something should be returned for comp for waiting so finally they did 25 dollars credit and there sending a extended battery and door.... yeehaw its not even the 6/1 yet but i have been there 10 plus years and pay 450 a month to them might be why..... so just keep calling them never hurts...
 
So my phone is supposed to be delivered on Tuesday. I just called FedEx and asked if there was any chance that my phone would go out earlier than planned (since it's only shipping from 1.5 hours away). A FedEx CSR put a message into the system requesting it be delivered tomorrow if possible. I'm not getting my hopes up, but that would be ridiculously awesome if it came tomorrow instead. Not that I'd have time to play with it right away, but I'm impatient. :P
