Because of the way that their logistics work they will often sit packages for a day somewhere. If you want it overnight, they want you to pay for overnight, this is common with fedex. nothing personal. I have had things sit at UPS a mere 10 minutes away for 2-3 days for similar reasons.
I guess that makes sense. I never took it as personal, just bewildering. But I hadn't considered it from the business standpoint, only the customer. Either way, tomorrow I should have my phone. One day isn't going to kill me. I'm pretty patient. I just couldn't figure out the logic on holding my phone for delivery tomorrow.
