Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

I had the same question. I think it is only in store orders that have the location code and 9 digit order number. Most that were doing this were talking about their receipt. :( Just my .02

Good luck though .. my Inc will be here tomorrow. :D

Could you please inform me of what is all included in the "Black Box" as I would like to order a few things and I am unaware of what I need being that is has been almost 1 month since my order 5/25er here any insight on how long of a wait I have yet?
 
ok i am the first 5/24 here to get not a confirmation but i went to fed ex .com and did the whole location_order# thing and it worked....now to call VERIZON!!!

Everyone who is new to android listen up!! Go to appbrain.com and create your account... you can start playing with your phone apps while you wait. Then, when your phone comes, it will install all the apps you select on your phone!

I think I can handle the few more days of waiting now. LOL.

the trick is ... u go to Fedex.com
then u click on track by reference # ...
then in the big box... u put in ur LOCATIONCODE_ORDER#
leave the shipping date alone..
put ur country
and zipcode
then track it...GOOD LUCK! :D:D:D:D

I've heard they are only shipping with 2GB cards. Amazon has a 16GB card for about $30 (best deal, really). There are other places to order them from , but Amazon is pretty trusted and quick n ez.

Android Zoom is another good site. They show you upfront the permissions of the app (very nice to know upfront before you get all excited about downloading an app only to find out it wants to permission to your contact list, phone settings, etc...)

A 5/24 here and just got my shipping notification 10 min. ago. I got overnight shipping and it will be here tomorrow by 3PM shipping from Memphis Tn. I'm located in WV. Been following this thread for a long time in anticipation.

WOOO HOOOOO A 5/24 got a notification!! And it's only Wednesday. Oh god I think I'll just die and go to Dinc heaven if my 5/26 order fills this week.

It is a combination of your order number + "location code". How you would get the location code is a bit of a mystery, I'm not sure if it is specific to where the phone is shipped FROM or TO - but if you have the location code, then the combination is to put the location code, then an underscore, and then the order number:
xxxxxxxxxxx_xxxxxxxxxxx

my phone shipped out of Ontario CA to SLC, UT, and my location code was 2275501, and the order number had 3 leading zeroes, so the reference number on the fedex invoice looks like this:
2275501_000657xxx

It is my understanding that this will only be effective AFTER Verizon has shipped the phone, at which point Verizon should be able to give you the real tracking number (so searching by reference number would be duplicitous, unless you don't want to call Verizon for a tracking number).
 
5/25er here no communications from VZW no shipping info yet but Omg I so hope for it before the wknd!!!!!

From what I've seen of the "white box," there's no difference when it comes to the contents.

It came with the phone, the battery, the manuals, and the USB cable with a charging block for an outlet.

As for any build differences, it seems no different than what the phone I used at the store was like, but that's not saying any minor problems weren't fixed either.

So theres a possibility that minor gliches may have been fixed with the black box incredibles, i did notice they corrected the name on the new boxes from htcincredible to droid incredible by htc.

but i'm pretty sure the the contents of the box r the same.

Oops - my misunderstanding. I guess I was so busy with my new phone I didn't take the time to read your post completely. :)

I hope you get your phone very soon because you are going to just LOVE it!

BTW, my phone shipped from California to Oregon 2 day FedEx. Shipped out last Friday and arrived at my door Tuesday morning. Kind of a long 2 day ship, huh?
