I swear to you right here and now, if this phone doesn't come this week I'm probably going to get fired from work... I need the weekend to play with it. If it comes on Monday I'll end up spending 2 days playing with the thing instead of working.

I hear you, Brother. I think my wife is about ready to either leave me or kick me out because I am obsessively checking FedEx and calling VZW like a crackhead who keeps checking the coin returns on the neighborhood pay phones.
I'm a college professor now on summer break and I know how that sounds to you poor bastards at work today, BUT I F--KING NEED THIS PHONE NOW BECAUSE I HAVE LOOKED FORWARD TO THESE SUMMER DAYS WITH MY FIX IN HAND, LIKE SOME KIND OF JUNKIE! I am even open to pimping myself out to the FedEx guy to get just "a lil' taste", you know - just tell me my junk is on the way, and I'll deal with this awful dopesick!!!!!

They would probably stage an intervention.... but I haven't just been without my Dinc... my iPhone died (broke into a million pieces really) the day before I walked into the VZW store to order. This is my loaner phone, the lovely Samsung Smooth:
So, to review... I came off of a 3 year smartphone addiction cold turkey and have had to make do with what you see above. So yes... I am like a heroin addict waiting for the methadone clinic to open in the morning.

Hey what does it mean that the VZW cs rep I just spoke to on the phone has a different order number for my Inc as well as a one-day-earlier date of order - 5/25 - than the order number and date on my receipt? Still no tracking info, but he's wondering if the new info means its on the move....

Sadly it looks like 5/25'rs are gonna be waiting over the weekend, I ordered and paid online early morning on 5/25 and haven't got an email and got shut down by cs

Have you called Verizon and asked them if yours has shipped? I ordered mine on 5/22 (in store) and my phone is currently sitting at my local FedEx facility - why it's not on the truck for delivery is beyond me. (my FedEx guy is usually here between 9:00 - 9:30)
Anyway - I'd call Customer Service and find out what is up.
