I have been having a horrible experience and I need to vent about it a little bit. On 5/25, I placed an online order through Wirefly.com because they were selling the droid incredible for 149.99 and if you use bing cashback, you get an extra 50 dollars off, making the phone 99.99, half of what the price is if you order directly from Verizon. Initially, I had problems with customer support. I was always connected to someone in India who did not understand what I was trying to do. Ever. Seriously. I never found anyone to talk to that knew the answers to my questions during any of my phone calls to them. I brushed this off as I figured out the answers to my questions on my own and placed my order online. A few days later, I was e-mailed saying that they could not process my order until I paid my current balance with Verizon, and to reply to that e-mail when I had done so. After checking with Verizon, I realized I made a mistake when I made my last payment and owed them an additional $0.40. That 40 cents has made this whole ordeal miserable. When I realized I owed them 40 cents, I paid it then and there. Verizon received this payment 6/6, as stated when I called them and on their website. I replied to the e-mail I was sent from Wirefly, only to have it sent back to me saying the e-mail did not exist. I checked the address and it was fine. On 6/15, the 3 week mark, I e-mailed Wirefly. They told me that I still owed Verizon 40 cents. Verizon has assured me several times that they have received their payment, but Wirefly simply cannot understand this for some reason. If they e-mail/call me one more time saying that I still owe Verizon 40 cents, I am going to cancel my order and place a new one with Verizon, meaning I'll have to wait another 3 weeks or so.
Wirefly.com has decent prices but their customer service is atrocious. If you think there might be any small problem when making an order with them, do not place the order. If you think you can place an order with them without any problems, do not place the order. Basically, I do not recommend Wirefly at all and I really hope that I do not have to place another order and wait another 3-4 weeks.
