ok, so as the title suggests, its an update -sorta on my lil bro's deathbooted evo4g
now it goes as far as playing the stock boot-animation sound but the screen still stuck on the white screen.
hboot finally no longer 6.16.1001 or whatever, now 2.16.0001
s-on through the http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all-things-root/407098-you-can-now-unroot-revolutionary.html thread, but the PC36IMG file for stock rom in that thread wont friggin load, ie. dont have the option to install the update n goes straight to the, i guess options mode where i can select fastboot, recovery, etc.
any ideas?
re-downloading the 1st PC36IMG file in the above thread(not the latest)
ran a RUU for stock through fastboot to get to the state im at after going s-on, what else can i possibly do as now i can flash everything aparently but just wont finish booting
oh, and where can i find the drivers for the 3 instances of
"Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM" that pop up when the phone is booting?
also, adb drivers, can they be installed without the fon being on usb debugging as i cant boot far enough to enable that option?
