I know the OP has already decided to purchase the extended battery, but just another word for those still on the fence from a new Rezound owner that has used only the extended battery since purchase. Whereas my old, crappy Samsung Galaxy S would go only 4 hours before needing a charge after being removed from the charger with light use, this awesome Rezound will run right up until it's time for bed. Now that I have it set up to run on both my home and work wi-fi (with seamless switching, nonetheless), I think I can probably eventually get about 20hrs of use off of one charge after the battery conditions itself! The length of time the battery holds a charge increases every day. On purely 4G, I can see about 10hrs of constant use run time right now. Now, if they can get the standby/use endurance out of the standard battery like my work Blackberry, this phone would be perfect. As for size, I find it nowhere near as bad as some think (especially coming from the very thin SGS) as it gives me a really good hand-hold on the phone vs. the Nexus (too wide for comfort) and the RAZR (too thin AND wide for comfort). No issues in my pants pockets as they're slightly baggy anyway. I initially had the silicone verizon case on it, but I'm running it naked now...I really the sleek look and the feel of the matte finish on the rear cover. For $25, the ex batt is too good of a deal to pass on...
