If we need to lower it even more 410 would be the lowest and yet most compatible. You should compile it with 415, 420 and 425 if possible. Easier to find that min/max

i cant remember how to do that for the life of me.
i downed it to 2.0 GHz
try that and we can work our way up
Antutu scored 12415, 2d 425 3d 2873 lol. Thats why I said the 450 clock is a little optimistic. 415-425 would probably work better. Sweet spot might be 420 *giggles*
I don't get it, this is what I'm getting with that 450MHz rom -_- how you guys getting so low.
~18377
Every device is different. Also I have a lot of crap on my phone to do my testing, a lot of which starts on boot or by itself even if I shut it down. Uses more memory which affects the score too
Out of curiosity what is your gpu governor set to? And what app r u using to set your clocks?
Im going to port over the simple gpu gov and see if that stabilizes the GPU OC
Ok here are my most recent tutu scores with performance cpu gov and ondemand gpu, both max clock
18717 928/6167
18390 944/6118
On performance gpu I get 14500 or less. Try it yourself and see what happens
I use trickster MOD
last run was 19786 903/7016
Governor ondemand for both @ 1.99GHz
The 1.99 doesnt have the 450 clock. I saved the zips separately so I have them all for reference

what does ion.h do? o.0oh hey on a lighter cm note tho, i may have fixed a long standing issue with zte kernel code. msm_ion.h is nothing more than a glorified link to ion.h. the problem is it is an actual.h file which merely includes ion.h, this causes a loop which gcc quickly rectifies by telling you to go fudge yourself. i deleted the actual .h file, made it a symlink, and so far so good
I'm going to try that, finishing a backup now. Will test after.wait a sec.....if the stock rom is as close to AOSP as possible, try flashing the OC kernel over AOSP 4.4.2 build, i think it may work actually
I think I'm going to wipe my computer and install Linux Mint 16 (i have 15 now), then re-setup my git stuff. My layout is so confuzzled right now, and I'm pretty sure I've messed it up somewhere along the lines. Aught to be fun.im resyncing sources now because somehow the tree stops compiling now![]()
I'd probably try to get as close to 10 minutes as possible, maybe 15. I probably wouldn't want to sit through an 18 minute video for this stuff. Its a little longer than I wanted it to be, but I try to be thorough at explaining things. Should I record a much simpler "Hi. This is what this is, this is how to do it, thank these guys. Bye" ? Its currently 18 mins long
The updater-script just needs to be fixed. There are two lines toward the end (both are 'ui-print("")' and are missing the semi-colons.)Took the plunge. 2.5 hour download. Status 6 error in /sdcard/aosp-4.4.2-r1-nex.zipso much sadface that it didnt even try
So does the fast charge work?GPU OC will be available real soon. But badass can control GPU speed now. but it wont overclock it
yea um....about that........
added that too![]()

If you want, I could send you a small drive. What interface does your laptop use?Yerp it's a pity too. Not much to this thing,1.6ghz dual core Intel celeron b810 4gb ram. Plays and records games not too bad, cpu is its only downfall. Worst part is its my work computer for all my flashing and unlocking. Now I'm without unless I use my girls but it ain't too much better. I DO like AMD though...but it's another friggin HP! Oh well, I got it free. Done me well this past year. Get what you pay for I guess. New drive and I'll be set. This week better be amazing
or go to target and pick up 10$ Hydros =)
Lmao, which is a android phone "hydro kyocera"
Like he said, bad ayi. Kyocera is a no-no. They're mean, ruthless, jerks who don't care about anybody but themselves and their money.I wouldn't touch another Kyocera with a million foot long pole! They are garbage, no wonder it's $10. You should be ashamed of yourself to suggest something like like that. *flicks ayis' nose* No...bad![]()
And I had the rise (like, 7 or them by the time I was done, along with an event and a hydro. You should see my collection -_-)i had the hydro and i tried to tackle the locked bootloader. i failed
i will push out test kernels today if anyone is feeling flashy
I tried underclocking and overclocking it, it didn't like either. Could've just been doing something wrong, what with me not knowing what I'm doing ^_^;Maybe a little too much for the gpu? Clocked too high and performance can suffer. Gonna try with other governors to see if less stress helps
I already told you thisyep so 1.9 is our cap. 2.0 reboots as i thought, even lowering the voltages didnt help
now i jus gotta perfect the gpu oc. ima set it to 420 and push out another test
I had already tried 2.019 and 2.044 with lower voltages. they both boot, but as soon as the test hits the cpu floating point test, it reboots for both of them.
Yeah, what he said. What does the simple gov do?

IF you read back in my post i updated
