If we need to lower it even more 410 would be the lowest and yet most compatible. You should compile it with 415, 420 and 425 if possible. Easier to find that min/max

Probably shouldnt put the default clock at the max. Bootlooped. Make it the 1.18 normal clock and well up it incrementally ourself

Ok. It boots.
Quadrant and antutu werent up to the score as the 1.94ghz clock. Graphics tests were on the normal side. Boot seems a smidge quicker but startup apps taking longer than usual. Dont know if that has any significance. Then again I tested immediately after booting. Will try again now its been on for a few minutes and everything has had a chance to initialize.

Antutu scored 12415, 2d 425 3d 2873 lol. Thats why I said the 450 clock is a little optimistic. 415-425 would probably work better. Sweet spot might be 420 *giggles*

I don't get it, this is what I'm getting with that 450MHz rom -_- how you guys getting so low.

That's understandable according for measurement error but if we the the test at least 3 times it's more reliability increase. I also have a lot crap on my phone.

oh hey on a lighter cm note tho, i may have fixed a long standing issue with zte kernel code. msm_ion.h is nothing more than a glorified link to ion.h. the problem is it is an actual.h file which merely includes ion.h, this causes a loop which gcc quickly rectifies by telling you to go fudge yourself. i deleted the actual .h file, made it a symlink, and so far so good

wait a sec.....if the stock rom is as close to AOSP as possible, try flashing the OC kernel over AOSP 4.4.2 build, i think it may work actually

I think I'm going to wipe my computer and install Linux Mint 16 (i have 15 now), then re-setup my git stuff. My layout is so confuzzled right now, and I'm pretty sure I've messed it up somewhere along the lines. Aught to be fun.

Took the plunge. 2.5 hour download. Status 6 error in /sdcard/aosp-4.4.2-r1-nex.zip so much sadface that it didnt even try

The updater-script just needs to be fixed. There are two lines toward the end (both are 'ui-print("")' and are missing the semi-colons.)

Yerp it's a pity too. Not much to this thing,1.6ghz dual core Intel celeron b810 4gb ram. Plays and records games not too bad, cpu is its only downfall. Worst part is its my work computer for all my flashing and unlocking. Now I'm without unless I use my girls but it ain't too much better. I DO like AMD though...but it's another friggin HP! Oh well, I got it free. Done me well this past year. Get what you pay for I guess. New drive and I'll be set. This week better be amazing

Maybe a little too much for the gpu? Clocked too high and performance can suffer. Gonna try with other governors to see if less stress helps

I tried underclocking and overclocking it, it didn't like either. Could've just been doing something wrong, what with me not knowing what I'm doing ^_^;

I already told you this I had already tried 2.019 and 2.044 with lower voltages. they both boot, but as soon as the test hits the cpu floating point test, it reboots for both of them.
I'm thinking of just upping the 1.994 to an even 2.0 for appearances sake

The reason I run on performance mode while running the tests is because I consider if the clock speed can't be run at maximum at all times its a bad oc. Performance mode at 400mhz does just what it implies. it actually boosts the performance all around and gives higher/steadier fps than ondemand. Again, if it can't run at maximum speed at all times I consider it unstable. Thats just me.
Also i switched to trickster and can't get near your speed. So theres that "every phone is different" thing again

Cooldudezach not sure what you mean by interface. Its a 320gb sata has windows 7x64 and lubuntu 12.10 at this point I just need a working system. My partner at my shop has a 500gb that used to be in his ps3 he said I can have for $40. He owes me 15 and I get paid 25 for every phone I flash/unlock/fix so thatll pay it off. Just dunno when the next phone is gonna come in. Ive gone 3 weeks without a call already. Hurts my g/f in the wallet cuz she practically supports both of us and were bout to have a baby. I'm mentally ill and borderline disabled, but not enough to warrant getting ssi. And I live in Reading part, the poorest city in the US. No jobs anywhere. So what do I spend my time doing? *waves arms over the page* This. Helps my business because I get more experience and knowledge to put to use, donations help from the tutorials I post, and I enjoy what I/you guys do.
