delivery time? (now "ships by March 29th")

My thoughts exactly. It's hard to get that excitement you had when you were a kid coming down on Christmas morning. But waiting to come home to a new Nexus 4 comes pretty darn close. Haha

Spooky... it's almost as if you're reading my thoughts!! :)

Original poster here, figured I'd chime in that ordered early yesterday morning (Friday) and got an email that it shipped at 2:30this morning (Saturday). I should had it mailed to the ship... Oh well, it'll be sittin there when I get home in 9 days...

I just got my uncle Sam money in the bank. I am thinking of getting a nexus 4 16gb.
I too am working on a boat in port fourchon in golden meadow, LA.
I go out for 28 days and have over 2 weeks left out here.

I think I will do like the above said like Nike, just order it! Plus the charging orb to boot! :D

My only question is when I you pop in my micro SIM card from my AT&T hTC one x will I have to custom tweek the apn settings to get data? I really don't want to have to involve at&t to get it working. I usually get HSPA+ on my one x. There is no LTE coverage in my area anyway so, I don't care about that.

I think I will pull the trigger after this post and have it shipped to the dock and get it out here.
Getting excited!!!

Well I'm glad someone in a similar situation benefitted from this thread.

Regarding feeling like Christmas, I just had that feeling the Friday before this last one: first paycheck since the end of January and first really decent since... well, god knows when. Definitely felt like I didn't want to sleep.

I'm bummed I didn't send the phone here though because I flashed a different ROM to my rooted Virgin Mobile LG Optimus Elite before I left for the ship and it has been a nightmare. Started going into random boot loops without any consistent warning or list of circumstances. Granted, it doesn't matter much with phone calls (although certain times of the day the SAT internet is strong enough/not clogged too much that I can use Google Voice), but it's really annoying when I'm trying to sneak a quick back and forth text/IM conversation here and there over the course of my 12 hour shift.

Annnyway, rant over. Lookin forward to my 4! Hopefully it boots relatively quickly (as has been my past experience with the Nexus 7). That's another ROM issue right now... takes a good 3 to 4 minutes for my phone to boot, and then it often goes into boot loops right after booting. Ugh.

I ordered Daughter's 16 GB Monday AM, with an expected ship date of 29 March. Got ship notification in a morning Email Tuesday and UPS tracking shows a scheduled delivery for Wednesday 27 March
