Root Deodexing GB.......

I'm sad.... wont dl for me. I'm bored at work and was wanting to tinker. Anyone know if link is down. Also the tv off wouldn't dl for me. Maybe wiring at home will work. Anyone else having issues with dl using 3g?

so we are just flashing in bootstrap? no wipes necessary?? i've never mounted the system before...is there a reason to do that??
 
can anybody point me in the best direction to learn how to do framework-res mods? I'd like to maybe start working on theming, or at least just changing the look of small things.

oh, @ECfire...I'm still using your circle battery mod you posted way back when. Noticed it is only using 20% increments. Is that what you were referring to about the old images being in the framework? If so, could we get 10% increments back on it laterish?
 
Applied the deodexed GB zip file and I'm stuck at the boot logo for over 5 minutes. should I try pulling the battery yet?

Everyone has said that it won't work until it is updated but that you can use the D2 because it is working correctly.

You would have to reflash the CRT Animation because if you did the Deodex flash last then you overwrote the framework-res.apk file that was modified.
 
i thought deodexing was supposed to help add a bit of speed also? btw is there any easy way to zipalign all my apks now without a rom?

Odexed systems run faster?

I googled it and get mixed results... but from what I have read I feel like those people that are like me, in that they do not use themes at all, would benefit more from an odexed system.....?
 
so if i want to flash this deodexed zip, do i have to unfreeze all the bloat apps in titanium first and also would i have to wipe data/factory reset or would i be able to just install this over top of what i have?

DEodexed systems are faster.
 
Can anyone please upload the deodex zip to hotfile or dropbox or something? Trying to download this on my phone at work and it keeps screwing up halfway through. Thanks in advance
