Wow, I wish I could get those numbers.
Wow, I wish I could get those numbers.
I find that my battery drops 10% every 2-3 hours. My settings are as follows:
3g on
Accelorometer on
Wifi off
Bluetooth Off
Screen set to about 40%?
Mail pulling every 15 minutes
Twitter pulling each hour
Beautiful widgets every 2 hours
Facebook pulling every 8 hours
If it is possible, could anyone give me any tips that might help me improve battery life?

Circle battery mod for custom roms

Five home screens, live wallpaper, tons of updating widgets and stuff, all syncs (except stocks lol) on and I'm a fairly heavy wordfeud player so it gets a fair bit of use
It comes off charge at eight in the morning and about half midnight when I go to bed it's still got around 30% left :O Only a week old too so I expect improvement!

To be honest, if he has an undervolted kernel and we already know the screen is off. Set CPU to set 245mHz max screen off profile with powersave governor, then its possible
Plus could have done the battery calibration trick which charges to about 105% or more, still reading 100

i do play games on it, text, call, browse stuff, listen to music, etc (and pretty much use it as much as i want) but definitely most of the time the screen is off (work, sleep, living life). I'm personally very happy with my battery life. If i needed it to last longer i would adjust my settings accordingly.I don't understand the need for an app to do what the Desire already does, at least with v2.2. According to a testing app I tried early on, the CPU drops to 245MHz automatically when idle, and ramps up as needed to 995MHz. Perhaps that explains why my battery life has always been just fine?To be honest, if he has an undervolted kernel and we already know the screen is off. In regards to battery. When I do the "calibration" in use, my battery stays on 100% for much longer than on 99%. Why? No idea. But it does :$

Wow you only use your phone for 4 hours out of 44?
).

I've had mine on for 6.5hrs today and have its awake time is 1.5hrs. Battery is now at 66%, have used wifi for about 2 hrs this morning browsing internet, reading rss feeds. Then watched about 30 mins of youtube at lunch time, made a couple of calls.
I usually get to the end of the day and it needs to charge overnight, but i would consider myself a heavy user of the phone.
I find that spreading Marmite on my battery, doesn't help!
