Yeah from next year full 3g coverage will be offered by the merge of the networks, orange/tmobile (everythingeverywhere) is going to cover 99% of the country so i can see good times from them to be fair :D

As an EX Orange employee, I know what system thats been taken off and that suffices at proof xD

Well hopefully it will bring a better coverage, but its a case of wait and see :)

Week 43 makes it 22nd I think?

Looks like Vodafone doesn't have any exclusivity at all then?

Does it say anything about locked handset or special colours (example Black?)
 
Hi all,

first post on here, thought it might be of interest. i spoke with Orange on Thursday who informed me that this handset was due for release direct from Orange in November. when asked if they had a date they were unable to answer but at least it should be within the next four weeks

Again - don't get the branded handsets from Orange directly. Try using retailers, otherwise you'll be waiting ages for any update (e.g. Desire, Hero, etc.).
 
I've had a saga with orange, upgrades and discounts this weekend and ended up upgrading via CPW to get the DHD because I was empatically told Orange weren't and wouldn't be doing them. After dripping about losing my loyalty discount (which apparantly I would do anyway(?), I was informed that Orange are doing DHD in Nov AFTER they re-pass further QA tests?

Interesting.....still fuming that I've lost loyalty discounts after upgrading and extending my contract. Next time it won't be Orange I go with!

This and insurance are the only reasons i didnt upgrade via P4U last thursday.
 
I spoke to upgrades just now. The guy checked their system and it said that the final build was done and to call back tomorrow.

Not sure what that means but I'l call again tomorrow.
 
Just order my htc desire hd on a upgrade through orange, they said it came on there system from yesterday morning on the 27th of oct 2010, went through to retentions got the desire hd for free on a 24mth contract with 5/6 magic number 1000mins 300 txt unlimited landline & interenet for
 
i take it that this is not a buisness contract as disscuced above? i will give them a ring later on and see what they say, will have to report back tomorrow now as im off out to work.

- 500Mb data (incl)
- 18 months contract
- Phone was free.

Result! Glad I stayed with Orange. Just need to debrand once I get it...
 
Contacted Orange customer service for PAC code, told them i wqas leaving as they could not gove date for DHD release.
Low and behold ...they stated they have got it in stock and are delivering it tommorrow.
Try calling them

Been following this thread for a while but thought I'd share my experience:

Ordered my upgrade yday for delivery today. Got a good deal (800mins, ultd text, ultd data (no cap - but that sounded like a lie) -

Ask them to check GURU matrix system

Anyways, its nice to see Orange is going to be supplying them :)
