Root [DEV][ROM][ALPHA v2] CyanogenMod 10 for the LG Esteem 4g LG-MS910

ive wiped and flashed 3 times and still cant get past adding my wifi network..keyboard wont show up when i need to enter the network password

Exact same problem (3 times as well) a few days ago. Then 2 different nandroid backups wouldn't boot and I had to install from scratch. Not saying the issues were related in any way. Just a bad couple of hours for my poor phone....
 
I dont know cause pg had the keyboard working in one of his builds i thought . But from what i seen i think your missing the ime permission .
 
Do you have to flash both of those downloads because when I do them one by one they both get stuck in the boot up. I also tried PlayfulGods rom and when it boots up it acts like its a brand new phone but it goes really slow and repeatedly crashes and I cant set up my Gmail account because it keeps starting over asking what country am I from. Can someone help me to get Cyanogenmod 10 please?
 
Hello and welcome to the forum . Well to answer your question . Is as follow . You first do a full wipe next you flash the cm10 build . Boot up into the build one time next you boot back into recovery and flash the gapps next and boot back into the build of cm10 . But when u flash the g apps do not do any wipes or flash anything but the g apps :eek::o:what:

Ok so I did what you said for your 20130520 zip from above and it worked. Only thing wrong is everything is extremely laggy. I touch something and it doesn't respond until like 2 seconds later. The screen blacks out and takes me back to the home screen.
 
So, as I said before, ui is now really smooth, well wifi works again, keyboard is so so...

and...

I sorta got ril (cell service) to work! but, you have to kill "rild" and quickly start "qmuxd" after the rom boots, to get it to work... So the good news is i have a lead into the whole cell phone issue.

I will go ahead and upload a new rom in a bit, I'd say about 90% of the boot code has been completely re written.

o ok this is nice it stop rebooting you can get the wifi to connect but you cant see what you are typing . now the data dont work i pm you with that but hey coming along very well hope you thirsty cause we gonna buy out the bar

Well, I made one call on it and that was it.
It's like I was stranded on Dead Island, found a magic lamp, used the only wish I had on a naked chick and now I'm...

Phone won't even boot back into CM10. Tried multiple reboots with no success. Never got to see the keyboard, tried using it to log onto wifi.

Remarkable progress saschaelble, THANK YOU and keep up the good work :thumbup:
 
O u was to wipe data and cache and reboot back in i did that keyboard pops up . But as i said no data . Now for some reason i tried to boot back up to a number 2. I couldnt get data i had to do a wipe and a downgrade and bam here i am . But hey he got it from rebooting and the wifi is connecting . :D:eek::p:thumbup:
