@Logan I'm sure he'll give us the next release when it's worth using at a certain level. Hopefully if the graphics drivers do the trick and help us get proper input he might be able to release a new proof of concept that let's us play around in the OS even if the radio isn't working.

That makes sense yeah the driver covers the entire 2xx series lol so it doesn't really affect anything i guess :P
 
Wat? And yeah cm9 will be a wip for a while, especially considering the official release has not happened yet for the actual rom, let alone ports. Add to that the fact we need to port everything to the device and have working drivers for every piece of hardware (radio, GPS, Bluetooth, camera,etc), proper video encoding and general tweaks, we're a long way off of a full ICS rom of any sort
 
The truth is RIGHT there ^. Heck, PG may even be closer than I am unless he hasnt made any progress since his posting of the ROM.
 
i have a question...i have an esteem would lg g2 optimus roms work on my phone...

also i want to try the cm9 beta i guess u can call it but how would i flash my working rom back after i try cm9

first please make a back up of ur current rom u can do that with rom manager and lg g2 cannot be use for ur phone that will brick ur phone and believe u me its not fun trying to recover it lol
 
yea but how am i to get back to my stable rom if cm9 is unstable and cant run apps and load them to get back to my working rom
 
ok i have researched many ways to boot into recovery i might have missed something but the button combo dont work for me and i realy didnt see much more other then boot from cwm..any help on how to boot into recovery when u cant boot it from cwm?

What's going on with your phone:confused: You are stuck in recovery:confused: Give me some details please:D
 
no i just wanna really really flash cm9 but i dont know how to get into recovery with out cwm recovery and no im not stuck in recovery...
 
the only other ways are the button combo of... With Device Powered Off, Hold Power Button and BOTH Volume Rockers Until You Fell A SLIGHT Vibrate Then Let Go Of The Power Button While CONTINUING To Hold The Volume Rockers. A Screen Instructing You To Press The Power Button 3 Times To Continue Should Appear, This Is When You Release BOTH Volume Rockers And Hit The Power Button 3 Times(Depending On How Fast You Hit Them The Device May Not Recognize A Hit But Will Not Harm The Device By Hitting Power Button Too Many Times) To Confirm Your Decision To COntinue and The Device Will Display The Word "Confirmed: At The Bottom Once 3 Power Button Taps Have Been Recognized. This Will Then Take You To CWM After Displaying The Boot-Up LG Logo.

Second method involves ADB. I am NOT explaining how to do this LoL. Not hard to install ADB and you can even install and setup through Windows. Once you have ADB installed and Setup you open a command line and navigate to where you need to navigate to(Tutorials Online Will Guide You Through It All) Once you navigate to where you need to navigate to you type "adb reboot bootloader" and BAM! Method one works for ALL, it's just that some people have a harder time due to misread/written instructions, badly written instructions or just are plainly just doing it incorrectly.

If you still need help after these easy instructions here are still having problems then let us know on here. Biggie and I will help you out no matter what but do NOT flash CWM until you are able to get into CWM whenever you want and just to let you know, you will NOT able to get into CWM from Rom Manager on CM9 Alpha just to let you know so the only ways for you to get into CWM are the 2 above steps posted by me.
 
ok well when i do the button method i get the factory reset option nothing about recovery..did i do something wrong?
 
instructions are easy to follow but my phone is having her monthly problems and being a a ahole...lol
