So has there been any status updates I missed? From my understanding the kernel issues have been worked out? My phone looks like it's running ics as it is and I can wait for cm9, I am just curious of the progress.

Take out the battery and hold the power key and both volume keys. When the phone turns on let go of the power key but still hold the two volume keys until a black screen appears asking if you want to wipe data/phone. Press the power button 3x and you should be in recovery.

Take battery out and turn on by pressing power + volume up/down. When yu see lg screen let go of power but keep holding volume up/down. sum screen is gonna pop up saying if yu wanna factory reset, press power to confirm and it'll take yu to CWM

The link I posted above is a working install. Ive used it many times as others have too. The link that's in or was in the OP is the link that gives the error.
 
It's a not a completely working rom just yet. It's still a work in progress. It's basically in testing stages. It's not ready for us to use daily... The links are posted just for people to get a small taste of android 4.0.

Yes. Anyone that's tried this out had used this version. It's the same as the op, it's just fixed. The error is fixed.

You can't do much with it. Just a glimpse of what it will be. Not with the time imo. If rather just wait.

Im just saying. i used your link. and the install aborted just giving you a heads up that there must be something wrong with it with some phones.
