i got the ota but it failed.. also caused my gfs phone to brick bc once i tried an update after the OTA and used the LG updater it fried my phone... think someone faked and update and sent a miliscious software out?

Isn't it nice to have a $500 paperweight after we accepted the update our carrier sent us???

Only google can send it out, and must be fully stock, also why would you ota AND LGMobile Updater?

Not true. Mine was rooted when they sent out the update that got the phone ready for 2.2 and it broke my root and reset it back to stock. I had aloha .2 and when I woke up the next morning I was back @ stock. Also depending on where your phone is at the time could determine if it's OTA or LGMobile. My phone was on the laptop last night charging and it just so happened that was the same time LGMobile Updater checked for the new software....and WHAM!!! got a nice paperweight

I did. My new phone came in this morning.
