Did Everyone Get The Recent Software Update?

I had been getting the notification and kept saying "later". I finally tell it to do it, and says i'm up to date. I have DI07. I try to manually "update firmware" adn it also says up to date

That's odd. The update made the battery life so much better! How can u put it off!! (unless you were rooted and froze DRM then it won't change much lol)

I'd suggest manually updating, it takes 2 minutes tops.

Even though I'd already received the update, I thanked dr.pepper because I couldn't believe no one else had done it.

Isn't this the thread in which people have expressed non-stop frustration at not receiving the update? Didn't dr.pepper put an end to that frustration for some of you? If so, then the good doc!

Yesterday morning I still hadn't got the update. I read that someone's update came through while they were downloading apps from the market. So I went into the market and started downloading the available app updates that I had. Right away, the DI18 update appeared for me. When I got home last night I started downloading app updates on my wife's phone and the DI18 update came up right away also. Don't know if it matters, but this was done on 3G.

So I have DG17. I got the Epic about 2 weeks ago. I have checked manually for updates every few days.

Is the only option to take it into the store for the update?

Then I will lose everything?

Shouldn't they have told us that at the store before I left or before I wasted all the time customizing my phone with apps and launchers and shortcuts?

Going into Market did the trick. Dl'd an update for an app and seconds later the update was ready to install.

but the weird thing is I haven't received any notification for all the App updates that were released even tho I have notifications set to alert me.

what happened to the the icon in the notification bar for app updates?

Is the update notification supposed to disappear when you search for available updates? I don't use the Epic as my daily phone, but the person on my plan does and I want to make sure I do the update properly for them.

I called Sprint Tech Support and they seem to think that I'm all up to date, but I figured the update wouldn't show up anymore, if the phone was completely up to date.
