I am try to run dirty racun using ubuntu. I have 4glte hboot1.19 and I am using a liveCD I have relocked my phone but cannot complete step 8. Which is 8.RUU your device (with your phone in fastboot):*
fastboot erase cache
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip RUU.zip
I have tried several times to download the correct RUU but each time after I download I am unable to move the file to the same place I extracted the previous files. The system will freeze and I will have to start the entire process all over again. Will someone please help me

don't extract the files keep them zipped up and run the command.

What would the command be if I dont move the file RUU.zip after I download it

yeah like mr frog (argedion:D) said, the command will be the same. you need to follow the directions as is. and do not skip steps if something is not working right. and lastly only extract a file if it says to do it. if there is no instructions for extracting then DO NOT do it.

I am struggling to find a way to install the new radios and superuser and a custom ROM. I cant even get into recovery I am wondering if the bootloader is unlocked

If you are S-OFF it no longer matters if the bootloader is locked or not. S-OFF bypasses all of that.

The firmware you want can be downloaded from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2045935
Direct download of the one you want (no kernel, hboot, recovery):
Dev-Host - PJ75IMG_3.15.651.6-no-boot-recovery.zip - The Ultimate Free File Hosting / File Sharing Service

Flashing directions:

rename the file to 'PJ75IMG.zip' (careful not to add zip twice if extensions are hidden), placing it in the root directory of the sd card and then to restart the phone while holding volume down. This brings up the bootloader which will automatically look for the file and try to flash it. Once it completes be sure to rename the file so the phone doesn't keep trying to reflash it.

If you are going to flash a custom ROM you don't need the superuser files. It will already be in the ROM.

i am trying to get into recovery to install meanbean but all i get is and an android phone with a red exclamation point
even after flashing the above file and when i restart phone my software version is still the old version

sounds like you don't have a recovery. have you installed goomanager to get the twrp recovery downloaded and installed?

New problem. Uggg I installed the file now my my phone won't reboot I get to bootloader and it installs the file and reboots to a black screen any ideas

PJ75IMG.zip that is from the first link you gave me hboot reads it then updates everything then it says press up to reboot
and all i get is a black screen

can you get to the boot loader? if so that would be the easiest. Sorry didn't see that method till just now looking at the page

that will be the easiest method to do. just make sure to rename the file by taking out everything after PJ75IMG and leave the zip transfer it over to the sdcard and then boot up into bootloader and it should do the rest.
