Root {DISCONTINUED}MegaTron 6.2.5 (Updated 7/13/13)

its been a while since the last update um the ota updater doesn't have a progress bar or it does? because it just says downloading... and then there is a cancel button
 
so do i just hit the home button or do i need to keep it on the ota updater screen i know its like what 400 mb?

if you had the version of megatron b4 there should be a app called ota updater u click it and let it do its thing and then it will asked for u if u wanna install it if not you have to wait till chev updated the thread with download links
 
everything is running smoothly i like the feel of it but after i was done restoring my apps and data ( don't do data unless you know what your doing) the rom starts to bog down lol have like 100 apps can you post your no-frills settings? in format of...

your running the ICS theme. its the only theme compatible with 6.1.0

To Prepare you guys for the update tomorrow, i suggest you all backup your data via Titanium Backup and NOT cwm. Unlike the past few OTA's we've had, This one WILL Erase all your data to start fresh on 6.1.0. After the update is completed you can restore your apps + data from Titanium Backup. The Change log will remind you again during the download of the update.

oh and don't stay up tonight hoping for a midnight release you guys have done it in the past lol.

What's the problem with restoring data from a CWM backup after updating to 6.1?

Governor performance
I/O snoop

Be careful with settings like this. Could fry your CPU.

I have had this set since day 1 with no issues. But it is a phone and everyone is different.
 
ty chev i saw the coffee and was like this is black n white theme and i looked a gain n was like oh duh its just the wallpaper ... um i dont have the circle around my apptray icon like it shows in the vid so is that a different launcher or what lol im confused
 
The OTA updater is telling me of the update, but it's giving me a generic error when it starts downloading the update a second later. The error specifically is "There was an error with the download!" which happens just as it's displaying what the changes are or whatever... The screen after "Download" flashes by really quick and then this error is shown. Any suggestions?

advantage of this setting is,that it makes your processor do a job quicker/ disadvantage is that it can over work the processor over time. Your phone does get a little hotter and battery life is shorter.

by the way hi megatron users how everyone? decide to pay a visit to this thread ... how is the new release?
 
Your right. I have to have alarms set now, if battery temp gets to high as I already burned one battery. Alarms have not gone off yet so I'm good. Just a layer of protection for myself.

If I'm not mistaken, 6.1.0 is almost like a new ROM, so flashing data from 6.0.4 would be like flashing data from CTMod to Megatron (a BIG no-no).
 
Hey, I just noticed something...What happened to the "ClockworkMod" and "Quick Reboot" options in the power menu?
