Read the thread to put overclocking on phone. install using cwm. Change settings with setcpu ($2 on market). It works with starscrom. To change prl you need stock rom, no custom roms. I would recommend if you are good at following instructions and know what you are doing.

● Will be able to pull down notification bar in full screen games or apps. -App
● Adding a Browser which has similar features to Google Chrome for android 4.0 -App
● Setcpu will be installed in the ROM -App
● possible deodex the ROM "still thinking about it" -System
● changes in status bar icons -System
● Remove boost mobile in notification bar -System
● Change Slide to unlock collor and layout -System
● Status bar glows "not that noticeable" -System
● Adding wireless tether -App

Much more stuff will come in the update can't tell you guys all the goods at one time;), Update size will be less than 10mb

Edit: Just recieved that download error issue, I tried all of your suggestions but they did not work in my case. I tried Davegrow's solution to the google authentication issue since it notified me google talk failed to authenticate and voila everything is working again :)

I love this rom. Its awesome. My phone said mismatched too so i did what someone in a previous post said about unzipping it onto your comp first then transfer to sd card then restore. Worked first time. So maybe in an upcoming update you can make the rom theme color changeable ( chevonlol360 ). Instead of only having blue available. You can make different theme colors for the rom such as green, red, yellow, custom, etc. Maybe unzippable from clockwork or something. I also had the google talk error. So i followed the instructions on a previous post. Now it works fine no probs. I have had the rom on my phone for a while now. Way better than stock. I will never go back to stock now.
Thanks for this rom. I am looking forward to all of the updates.

Oh yeah you do need to unzip it before you place it in backup folder and i cant make it unzipable in CWM. plus im i am thinking about making it more than one color, i was thinking green and red not sure about yellow as it could be hard to see things:P
 
Thanks alot. I also like the new features in the upcoming updates. I have an acer a500 as well and i love to flash the crap out of my TU and tablet and try out new stuff people have. Love your work though.

red theme would be awesome. and deodexed, would be the best!
 
wifi is not working it keeps on connecting and disconnecting. what can i do to fix that? i also installed the wifi fix from the oc kernal but that did nothing
 
I would like to suggest you try out ES File Explorer Chevan, I found it a few days ago and it is definitely a better looking app over Astro with a few extra built in features like samba and ftp support as well as drop box and other cloud services... and no ads to boot! I know that astro supports samba with a plugin but this is nice out of the box. I will install it either way but I think you may find it more aesthetically pleasing for your rom :D

lol i already know about that app, it actually played a big part in creating this ROM but anyway i would rather not put the explorer in as a system app as it can browse through the system and all that stuff but just to be on the safe side its probably better to download it your self as if i put it in the ROM pre-installed it could cause some issue but i'll look it over and we'll see if it will make its way in version 0.5 coming next month:D , thanks for bringing it up again

Can someone please describe w/ or w/o CARRIER IQ. For everyone who doesn't know what it is. Including me. Sorry probably a dumb question to you guys. Thanks
 
Carrier IQ is enabled on most cell phones "mostly smartphones" that are selling today, just a little over 70% of them. Carrier IQ is like a information collector it knows all the things that you do on your phone like even something simple as a press of a key or button on your phone, sending a txt, what apps you have opened,exactly what you are typing etc. It collects and log the data and sends it to your carrier in this case the carrier will be " boost mobile or sprint" which ever carrier your ultra is running on. All the carriers "verizon, sprint, at&t, t-mobile" etc all claims that they only use it to improve their services and network etc, which is total bullshit when you put it in our language. We now know for a fact that sprint has disabled carrier IQ servers and stopped receiving data but its still technically running on the phone now when you disable it, you can have your privacy plus its saves battery life

Thanks for the info. So i guess i will wait for v 5 cause i want carrier iq disabled. Im running v 3 now and have been for a while now and love it. Is v.5 carrier iq disabled or enabled or toggle on/off?

update to version 0.4 it has disabled carrier iq already and no it doesnt have a on or off toggle. remember to update to a higher version read the red text in the thread:)

I Upgraded to v 0.4 last night. This morning i downloaded carrier iq detector. It says my device has carrier iq. Is there something im missing.

Yes it will say carrier is detected but its disabled download voodoo carrier iq detector even though it can be wrong somtimes, download more than one detector to get the best results
