Sadly no, reason is i couldnt get the frameworks to deodex, but the system apps are, but dont worry the secret feature that me and mavrikmeercat put on the ROM will make up for the status bar not being transparent:)

haha Turns out that the new version will have a transparent statusbar even without the frameworks being deodex, im just that good guys:cool:. I am so excited for the release of version 0.5 and im already running it:0 i wish i could see all your faces drop when released cause thats how good it will be:). 2 new secret features willing be join the ROM in the update;)

Might u be able to edit the settings so that tasker can do things like auto answer calls like before GB?? How difficult would that be? Or is this something I can get around now?? Thanks chev

I dont believe it is possible on gingerbread, im not even sure if a ROM on android 2.3 has that feature. You would have to do some major work to get that thing up and running and i dont even know what files i would need or where that feature is located in the system, it could take weeks to find all that out.

That's so disappointing. Do u think u could help me learn how to do that(track down those files)

Could take a good while to find the files and its more than one thing you would have to look for, i have a feeling that its somewhere in the SystemUI.apk of a froyo ROM, but even if you do find all the files and i instruct you on how to do do on GB, i can't guarantee it will work. Who knows maybe google took it out of GB for a good reason.

Rumor is they took it out bc phones were auto answering and peeps phone bills were getting jacked cuz of it. So google made it so apps could utilize that feature any longer. But its dumb bc peeps like us on boost don't have that problem and we should be able to do whatever to our phones. Such bs...I want froyo with GB improvements. Grrrrrrrr. Ok rank done
Well thanks for the info. I just wish someone out there could fix it. Id pay good money to have auto answer back for blue tooth and what not. Not to mention what I was trying to do. I hate answering my phone with that stupid slide bar. Any other options out there for that????
 
Ok guys fairly noob her. Probably seen me over in Interdpths Star crom post. Loaded this Rom today and must say so far I liking. Keep up the good work. My question is when I turn on Foxfi carrier IQ seems to activate. It's either from that our a couple hours after a reboot. But when Foxfi is turned off it's inactive again. Is there another way to use wifi hotspot for this phone without that happpening or is it just a don't worry about thing?

Im not surprised that it enabled back when wifi hotspot is activated but do a simple reboot when your done using it and it should go back to inactive, its really not something you worry about:)
 
Ok, thanks. Really didn't think it was much to worry about. As a couple of mins after you close it it deactivates without rebooting. Keep up the good work man. People like you make the TU interesting. Looking forward foor the update. An just a noob quest? How hards it gonna be to update? Thanks again Chev

Thanks Its not hard at all actually these were the instructions posted in the thread if you wanted to update to a higher version

If you already have the $hevron ROM installed and would like to update to a higher version follow the instructions below BUT if this is your first time installing the ROM please scroll down to "How to install the ROM for the first time"
1. boot into cwm
2. select backup and restore
3. select advance restore
4. select the latest version of the $hevron ROM "which is version 0.4"
5. select system
6. wait for script to finish
7. reboot

register for free

turn on wifi and download swype installer and then install swype beta.. This is WAY better than the stock swype.. It has tons more features than the stock swype and will noitify you of updates. I use it on my prevail with cm7 and I will never use that stock swype again. trust me you'll love it

Just wondering though? why would you use swype on the TU? it has a keyboard..
 
Been running the Rom for a few days now, and really enjoying it. I am having one hiccup to note. If I'm in a call, and go to the home screen, my screen almost instantly blacks out if I touch it. I'll tap the power button, then go to slide down the status bar to get back to the call, and it will instantly black out. If I tap the power button, and wait a couple seconds, I can open an app on my home screen, then pull down the status bar. It's not a pressing issue, and it could very well just be my phone. I Didn't notice it before the Rom, but I had my phone for a little over a day before I put the Rom on.
