Root {DISCONTINUED}MegaTron 6.2.5 (Updated 7/13/13)

-mumbles under breath- so this is bull crap ima rant alil .... i bought the extended battery a week ago on ebay and it was suppose to be delivered yesterday ... i wanted to have it before the rom came out so id have it charged and ready to go only would have to flash mega tron and i sent the dude a message yesterday saying wtf is going on n he was like ummm is this your address so i replied yeah that's my address n crap but i just checked the tracking and it said it was accepted into the post office yesterday im like WTF! i was hoping to teast it for you guy because chev recommend the one on amazon i wanted to have my own opinion.

Make sure that you test it out and make sure it's what you ordered. I bought (2) 1800mAh batteries off Ebay several months ago and when I tested then the were 1500mAh with 1800 stickers on them.

They ended up giving me $$ back and let me keep the batteries but how many people before me had bought them and didn't check to see if they were the correct battery?? Probably everyone. ;)

yah i bought the 3600mAh batter :P, i got 100% buyers rating and ive been with ebay alil over a ur bought 55 diff items usahlly people do pretty good tho there was one time i had a mix up when i bought xbox bartery packs and they sent like these cordless phone battereys i was like WTF and i got to keep the batterys and they sent the xbox ones aswell so its like im content with ebay only 1 misshap over the yr i was with it? its good

You should be in good shape since you got the big battery. Kinda hard to fake that 1. LOL. The company that I bought those batteries from surprised me because they had a 98% rating. I was actually kinda shocked that they would even try that. I've been buying and selling on Ebay for many yrs and this is the first time I've had something like this happen. Glad I checked the batteries or I would have been like everyone else and just thought that I got some crappy 1800mAh Chinese batteries. lol :p

Thanks bro. Nice to see you are still hard at work helping better these phones for everyone. I know they appreciate it. I watched the video and this ROM looks great. It would be nice to have it for the Marquee.

Bloodawn and Tdm are working on CM9 and MIUI for our phones. Things are looking good ATM. MIUI only has a few bugs that need to be worked out. You know Bloodawn..... he'll have it fully functional before long. Dude's got skills. I see he's hooked you guys up with CTMod too. NICE!;)

I'm running good old CTMod right now. That's just one ROM that ya can't go wrong with. I'm looking forward to the others being completed though. I've ran both of them and they're nice.:)

CM9 only has a few more bugs than MIUI but it's coming along nicely.

One thing I've learned since becoming a member here over a year ago..... patience is indeed a virtue. :D

I didnt really give you a real opinion as i was flashing crap all day long the day i got it so i didnt test it. I finally popped it as my main battery and have been testing it out. Its honestly amazing what a difference 100mAH makes. This battery is great for me. where i work, the area doesnt have much sprint towers around meaning no service for boost either. Sure i get a few signal here and there vut overrall uour phone is gonna be searching for service the entire time your there which kills battery. On the stock battery "i work 7 hours on weekends" and by the end of my day the phone would be completely dead. With te extended 1600mAH battery its at 50 percent:) thats a big difference and nothing eats your battery up fast than your phone searching for service.
 
hey all i read where mavrik has this posted for installation instructions:

WARNING!! Do not restore your apps or app data from any type of app backup. eg. Titanium backup. This is more of a new ROM than it is an update from the previous Shevron Rom as well as being based on a new version on android all together so restoring apps and data that came from a previous version will certainly cause problems.

i've used TB Pro with most of the roms on this forum without any troubles.
Is this because of apps2sd?


I haven't been this psyched for the launch of anything in a long long time.
 
That's alot of app data for me to lose. I have web md baby tracker and work clock to keep track of my hours worked for jobs... it'll be worth it though. good thing i've been writing everything down that i need. to reinstall...

Edit: think i'll restore an app or 2 and see how it goes if no go then wi-fi is getting a workout today

oh that was done two days ago just to make sure i got it done and already done one this morning. Just anxious for this release. That's why I'm not really fretting about having all that info written down. One of, if not, my favorite ROM for the TU. Chev, Marvrik, and everyone else involved I thank you. Wish I could thank you with money but having an 1 year old daughter damn near saps all my funds lol.
