ok I cant see ota updater in app drawer but when I use es file explorer and goto system/app I can see it why is this happenimg

Ok, this is hard to type. (caught my finger in the beef slicer @ arby's) anyway, im having the link2sd problem on 6.0.4 O.o i just did a fresh install wiped everything. oc'd at 1.9 stable. all apps linked disappear on reboot. recreating mount script and rebooting fixes it. would love to be able to not freak out after turning my phone back on after my battery dies.

Well first off, 1.9 is TOO HIGH. Anything over 1.6 has been known to cause a ram dump. 1.6 is about as high as you can go and still be stable.

to be honest, ive had no issues with 1.9. i still have link2sd problems running on defaults... it's like the rom forgets to mount the second sd partition

edit: my tu only dumps at 2.0...

The problem you are describing about stuff missing until you reboot is not a glitch that's link2sd creating the scripts and moving your apps to your card at that point so just be patient while it does what it needs to do...

Link2sd have nothing to do with missing apps I used to have the same problem on 6.0.3 from the beginning to the end. after installing 6.0.4 everything when back to normal what is causing it? Idk

When using link2sd, It can break some apps if they are not meant to be moved to the SD card.

Also, I have been a beta tester from the start of Megatron and never had I had an issue with the app. My biggest issue was signal (which I fixed by changing my prl). Other than that and a couple of fc's which were fixed as well.

Apps and Widgets I had problems disappearing in 6.0.3 are working fine on 6.0.4 .nothing had change except the update which made a difference on my end *** "every phone is different" ***

About being a beta tester and not having this problems, I'm happy for you! keep it up is a privilege :D

When you reboot your phone (turn off and on) you will realize that all the applications that make link has disappeared from your home screens, app drawer, list of installed apps, etc. as if they were not installed, but do not worry. Open Link2sd and press the menu > more > quickreboot and all the missing applications will be available.

Oh don't worry. I plan on being a tester for as long as they intend on keeping me....

And dalvik and whatnot? If it fails again re install 6.0.4 and restore data and install the theme wipe cache and dalvik again all before your first boot that's how I fixed it once

I just flashed the white n black theme and it worked for me. I had 2 ics folder themes so I might of accidentally flashed the wrong one.
