Awesome Rom . Haven't had any issues. Everything is smooth. Great work
Follow along with the video below to see how to install our site as a web app on your home screen.
Note: This feature may not be available in some browsers.
Backup your apps with titanium first. After doing the steps below, restore your apps only without data.
I think you need to download the new zip in the OP. Do a factory reset, clear cache and the wipe dalvik. Reinstall the new zip then do a profile update. See if that will solve your problem.
My vibration ringtone has been set to always, however I only get it when I'm in silent mode. So I only get a sound notification. Also when I press volume up, only the media volume increases, the ringer does not.
Please help!!
A factory reset hmm well ill think about it cuz I get tired of factory reset and restoring my apps especially because they don't install automatically
You can also go into settings and adjust all of your volume settings. I would wipe everything and do a clean install Because All of That Should Work Flawlessly.
I always factory reset if I have a problem. You would be surprised how many times it's solves the problem. A lot of the time those problems are caused by a faulty install. Also, when I use titanium to restore all of my apps it only takes about 10 minutes if that. Just remember to only restore the app and not data. You can go back and install the data for some apps once they have all been installed . You will just have to find out by trial and error which app data can be installed without having adverse side effects.
Wait so restoring app+data is bad?
Lol. Yeah, it can cause issues. That's why I always say not to do it. I've ran into issues in the past restoring data with the apps. Especially if data is from another ROM.
Like what excess lag even though the entropy is on?
Has anyone tried any of the new beta build for the hyper kernel with this? I remember wet saying it would work, just curious if anyone tried or what the results were. I see this rom is using the older version of hyper kernel.

Thanks for the settings tip wetbiker. Question I have for anyone who can answer: Using ADownloader will occasionally cause my phone to lag and freeze up, forcing me to do a reboot and sometimes a battery pull. Do you think any torrent program will cause this? With every other app I don't have any major problems. Thanks in advance for the feedback.

It can cause all sorts of problems. Lag, force closing ,etc. , It just depends on the app and it's data. Like I.mentioned earlier, you can restore the data to certain apps and it won't affect anything. I usually only restore the data to my task list.......so far I've found that it's data doesn't affect anything. I'll restore all apps with no data then.go.back and restore the data to that one app.
Take my word for, just don't do it. Many of the guys who've been around these forums will tell you the same thing. Especially when the data is from.another ROM.
Oh well I already did a factory reset and I'm restoring my apps only
Ok good. Hopefully it'll solve your problem. When things like that happen to me I have several steps that I go through to troubleshoot and try to resolve the issue. Besides what I already told you, another step I use is to redownload the zip file. Sometimes they can become corrupt and cause problems. Hopefully the factory reset and app install without data will solve your problem.
Yea and I redownloaded megatron 6.1.1 instead of updating it so I can have less things to worry about for now

That was a good move. As a matter of fact, I just did a factory reset and did the same thing. I always do that from time to time just to keep things fresh.![]()
My phone (Sprint) switched to roaming at some point and it won't go back to the Sprint network? What's going on and how do I fix it. I'm still on the first release for Sprint Marquee.
Please update to 6.1.1 where its more sprint friendly than 6.1.0. Also dont forget to do the sms fix once you update, you can find the instructions on how to do that in the 3rd post under the OP.
Well, torrent downloaders are notorious RAM/CPU hogs whether it be on a phone or PC. If I were you I would try one of the other torrent apps. I don't know if you will see any difference but it's worth a try. Either that or try using the app fastreboot once in awhile while you are downloading. It'll help free up everything . Hope it'll help.
edit: maybe we can get someone to post a zram tweak. I have a feeling that would help too. ( hint hint Skater) lol.
That all depends on how many people are interested in the tweaks I put together. I don't want to just throw stuff out there until I know how good they work.
