I still don't have accounts and sync settings, phone and messaging worked fine for me this time though. Whenever I try to log in to something that wants to sync it bombs out on me. Am I doing something wrong? I reboot at least five times whenever I flash megatron!
Also $400? It should be half that... they know some people will pay that right off the bat so they might as well. By the time I get one the S5 will be out

Oh what! I was thinking of upgrading to the S3 but I thought I had to flash the Sprint version, looks like I'll just save up for the boost version to lessen my worries lol

Wow That is really high I got my S3 for $199.00. I have an offer to get the S4 for $149.99 right now as an early upgrade but I kinda wanna wait till my actual upgrade in September and see how much money I will save I know it will be at least a hundred because that's my early upgrade fee. Never thought Boost was so high.

Just wanted to add that I don't have accounts and sync either in settings but I signed into Google when prompted after flashing. All my apps are syncing just fine.
My phone is running great ! Looks good Chev.
@svz. I've got a buddy in here(not gonna mention any names) who says he'll let me have his Sprint S3 in Sept. . Thats awesome of him to do that and thats what I will switch to when I get it and get it flashed over to Boost. Until then I'm gonna run the HTC ONE SV. I've already made up my mind that I'm gonna go get it tomorrow. Best Buy has them for $50 cheaper than the Boost store so that's where I'm gonna get it at.
I'm still in shock that the Boost store is asking $400 for the S3. Man, thats flippin CRAZY! Some may pay that much but not this guy. No way in hell. No phone is worth that much IMO.

Oh your lucky wet but I am more interested in the SV cuz I am a big fan of HTC and I've never owned one before and since boost has a pretty decent one, then might as well get it. Plus the S3 isn't much of interest to me since the S4 is out lol and yea and my Google play services doesn't install and I also do not have the accounts and sync settings, that's all the issues I'm facing for now

Yeah as soon as I upgrade my S3 is going to Wetbiker. It's a Sprint but he says he can make it work with Boost. I just hope it works out. I hope I am making the right decision going to the S4 I have heard mixed things. I know I will be upgrading just not 100% sure it will be an S4 now.

Right after you flash the ROM you will see a finger saying to touch the screen. After you touch it you will be asked for your Google information ( username, password). Did you enter the info when prompted?
Also, it might be a good idea to redownload the ROM in case you got a bad DL. I DLed the ROM and put it on my SD card. I did a factory reset, wiped cache, wiped Dalvik and then rebooted recovery. I then flashed the ROM. I let it boot up without touching it for a few minutes . I then rebooted 3 more times letting it sit a few minutes each time before rebooting again. So far mine is running GREAT!
Good idea, did you get accounts and sync settings back and Google play services installed from doing that?

Yes. I followed the exact steps I posted and Google Play is working flawlessly. As a matter of fact, I haven't found anything at all wrong with the ROM.

Yep I did sign in at the prompt and the Play store works fine for me, but when I try to add my additional gmail account or say my yahoo messenger, kik, anything like that that I need to sign in with an account other than the one I signed in with originally I get an immediate force close.

For now do it manually and open the regular email app and add your account from there. Kik isn't an option in the accounts tab and I don't think yahoo messenger is too. You should be able to open thoses app and add the account from there.

One other comment regarding THE status bar on the MIUI theme, it's kind of hard to tell if I have full bars or zero bars, because the difference in grey between the two is hard to differentiate. If there are less than full bars and greater than zero bars then I can see the difference. Maybe if the shading could be as distinct as that used for the Wifi indicator it would be good.
