Root Do baseband updates effect your plan?

When I updated my basement using ROM Manager it took me on a call to activate my phone service through Verizon. Does this screw with my plan at all?

Think of it like upgrading a driver on your computer.

You just have to register again after the update...no data or anything else is affected.

Why would it be an upgrade if you lost something that the upgrade is supposed to enhance?
