I'm going kinda slow with this... I've got my DX rooted ok and I want to try flashing the ROM but I havn't been able to make a back-up. I downloaded DroidXBoostrap.zip but don't know what to do with it since it's not a .apk. I downloaded ROM Manager and clicked Backup Current ROM but all it does is reboot my phone. I clicked on Reboot into Recovery but it just rebooted to the usual looking screens. What am I missing? Is ROM Manager any good? Do I need DroidXBootstrap if I have ROM Manager? Do they work together? Do they work together? Are they do the same thing (redundant)? I've read what I can find in this forum but am still a bit confused. Will someone please shed some light? Thanks!

I went ahead and paid for ROM Manager Premium as well.
Now I've just got to learn what to do with it.
Still stuck on how to install a .ZIP file...
