I have flashed a bunch of ROMs....here are my favorite 3

Aloysius Snow
White Widow 4.3 (running now....really liking it...maybe new default ROM)
Evil Eris 3.0
 
I am enjoying ErisLightningBolt 2.7 Cyanogen based ROM as of right now.

My "go-to" ROM is Fresh 2.1.1 by TCP/SoCal. It is honestly the smoothest/cleanest ROM I have used thus far. And there are literally zero bugs.

I've tried quite a few - I'm now on Evil Eris 3 for a few days, just installing it now - but I keep going back to two:

- xtrROM 2.1
- Senseless 1.0

I also like Ivan's, but it has one mini-bug that makes it a bit frustrating at times.

I've tried CyanogenELB, CyanogenEris, Senseable, Aloysius 12, Aloysius Snow - I keep coming back to those two. Like I said, I'm trying Evil again, though I'm going to try it with LauncherPro now instead of SenseUI.
 
HTC 2.1 + Root + ADW
Not that I've tried many others, just CyanogenMod and KaosFroyo v9.

I couldn't get overclocking to work in CyanogenMod and KaosFroyo V9 is only a few hours old and very buggy right now.

It leaves out Sense.. I've been looking for ROMs that do that.

Which begs the question: is it possible to use root to have Sense removed, not just disabled, in any ROM we're using?

If so, PM me the instructions and I'll send you six Canadian dollars in cash.

Oh, wait, these are Monopoly dollars. .. but still..

That lasted an hour. After install, 25.6 MB remaining memory. That's a fail for me. If you are not going to use A2SD on Evil Eris, it's probably not for you.

I installed Senseable. It's ok, but why change the default icons? I don't like either the gmail or the calendar icon; I don't like the what the dialer looks. I also don't like the lockscreen "draw pattern to unlock" in either Evil and Sensable - it actually makes that function harder, as it's hard to see whether the first press has registered.

Did you try ELB2.7? Apps2sd is great!
I have over 100 apps dl'd and have around 130MB of internal memory. Only one of my games won't work - Raging Thunder 2.
I can't get it to run regardless of dl'ing it to internal memory or card.

Plus pinch to zoom on google maps! Not necessary, but cool for showing off.:D

Also have not had any spontanious reboots.


Can't wait for fully functional/stable kaosfroyo either...;)

Haven't tried ELB2.7 yet. I'll probably mess around with apps2sd later on. Right now I have like 36 mb free in my internal memory so not too bad. My phone rebooted once yesterday when I was running too many apps. I think that's the problem with xtr. We'll see if that happens again soon.
