Does is bother you the EVO SD card is inside the case?

I prefer it to be protected in the case, but wouldn't hurt to not have to remove battery for access.

No, it doesn't bother me. I think it's smart design, especially if using a 32GB card that doesn't need to be swapped out often. It's a phone, not a music, photo, video, or other storage device for me.

Of course, I wouldn't mind if it wasn't behind the battery though.

Yeah....agreed, this is the best option.

Unfortunately, I'm in a situation where I need to swap-out multiple cards daily. At the end of each workday, I need to leave the SD card with the data I acquired at the office. I then insert my personal SD when I go home. Not convenient when I have to remove the battery.

I love the EVO, but need to find a better solution, otherwise I

Nah, I have big fingers so its a bit difficult for me to get the card out sometimes...

The better solution is to do as others have suggested, and get a bigger card. 16gb cards can be had on Amazon for under $30. An 8gb card can hold over 80 hours of music (if the songs are 128 bitrate). Do you need more songs than that in a 18 hour period? (you have to sleep for part of a 24 hour day I would think)

Otherwise get the Epic because future changes to the Evo will be software related, not anything physically major like moving the sdcard slot. I too wish the sdcard was external, like the Samsung Instinct or Samsung Blackjack did, but that feature is not enough for me to purchase another phone.

Agreed, plus the multiple apps that stream music.

Get over yourself this form is about technology, not an English class

You act like programming a computer isn't the most strict grammar and spelling rodeo you could engage in.

To answer the original question:
No. It bothered me more on my old phones (ppc6700 and ppc6800/mogul) that the card was so readily available to be dropped out of the phone, requiring only that the card be depressed slightly to make it pop right out.
Lost one at a party that way. At least there wasn't anything *too* valuable on there.
