I can not connect my HTC evo 4g to the pc .. does not recognize it, just charge

This is usually caused by a few different reasons. So first try to just restart the computer and then plug the phone back in. Also with the phone make sure you Select As Disk Drive or if you are trying to go into HTC Sync then make sure you select it as HTC Sync. If computer still does not recognize the phone you can go into device manager and check and see if the device drivers are installed correctly (Make sure you dont have a triangle with a ! in the middle) if you have no issues you can try to remove the device and then click action and check for plug and play and it should detect and reinstall the drivers it will require a reboot.

not automatically recognize my windows 7. I have another HTC and recognizes that without any problem ... have not installed any custom rom and not the root ... only charge ..

I found an EVO once...now I own one!!!
...LOL, I brought the first one to the sprint store..and bought mine!! LOL..luckily the guy working at Sprint knew the owner of the phone. talk about luck!
