hahaha wish I had that kinda cash to give away. BTW Hunter how did your battery stats wipe go? Everything running smooth?

Thanks for asking Luigic, I don't know if I did the last part of it right. I had it still plugged in when I did hboot and did battery wipe, then rebooted and it hung up in the evo white startup screen. Had to do battery pull rebooted into recovery wiped cache and dalvik-cache, then rebooted and was back up and running. After that I did regular reboot with no problems so I think I should have unplugged before doing last step of battery wipe correct?

no actually I left mine plugged in the whole time.... how long was it hung up on the Evo screen before you decided to pull the battery?

I honestly don't know but I don't think they would turn their nose up at any amount. 5 or 10 bucks or more if you feel they deserve it!!!....:-)

yea I was thinking like $5, I didnt want to insult anyone or anything, but thats about all I could do...

I have donated a minimum $10 and as much as $25. A ROM affects the entire experience of the phone, so I think a good one is worth some coin.

Seeing as how 99% of the people using this stuff don't give anything at all I would think $5 would be a pretty decent donation.

verngator, if you're giving out $10-25 at a shot I need to know what your hobbies are so i can start developing. ;)

Awesome thanks for the replies everyone!
Hunterbeav I would try again, I'm not sure why that happened to you

ok I will try it again leaving it plugged in through the whole process including the reboots correct?

yes should only be 1 reboot.
1.charge to full with green light, then take it off and use the phone for a few mins, then charge back to green light. then turn off phone while still plugged in and let it bump charge for a little while.
2. boot into hboot, choose recovery
3. wipe battery stats, reboot , all while plugged in

I usually go with $10-15 depending on how much I like the rom and features. Plus, with a lot of the devs, when you donate you get emails from them to test their betas. That's the best part in my opinion.
