Ok, so I did apply a bit of an adjustment from a previous post and have just hit 12.387 1/2 mile a 0.010 faster run, but alas I still lost to a 12.367.
Hi!
You have to start in the second gear! You know, how that works?
I try to explain (in bad english - sorry).
So you press the gas pedal until you reach maximum RPM. Keep your finger on the screen all time but go to the +-gear-button. When the race starts, you're automatically in the second gear. Take your finger off the screen then.
When you shift to the 3rd gear, start NOS.
Perfect shifts will bring you the 12,367 +/- 0,0x.
You are wrong dude. That's all about tune NOT perfect shifts. I DO start in second and with 5 yes 5 alllllllll perfect shifts I still only get 12.385 best 1/2 mile.
Okay, so I'm doing the driver's battles and there's one trick I haven't been able to figure out. I'm a level 10 and whenever the SSC Ultimate Aero TT comes up, I do the following:
Redline at the start and immediately shift to 3rd gear.
When RPM's reach 4,750 shift into 4th gear.
As soon as the RPM's reach 6,500 in 4th gear, hit nitrous and quickly shift to 5th
Shift to 6th at 7,100 rpm.
I usually come across the finish redlining in 6th gear at 276mph...
But here's the kicker... I've been passed... How does one make their car go faster past redline? What's the trick to do this? It's happened to me a handful of times and I don't understand how someone with the exact same car as me is gets a boost and ends up traveling faster than me, thus beating me when I've already hit the "top speed."
Thanks
hi everyone,
im new to this forum. anyways in drag racing i have alfa romeo on level 2 and $747,000. i want to buy a new car but i dont know which one. i thought of buying koenigsegg agera r.
please give me suggestions

Hi!
The best way to earn money and respect points is to drive Pro-League-Races. When you have a level 2 car now, it doesn't make sense to buy a level 6 car now, because you first have to make some Pro-League-Races in levels 3,4 and 5 before you can start racing in level 6.
So it would be better to buy for example the BMW M3, max it out to level 4 (after doing some level 3 races in Pro League) and earn money with it.
Then you could buy for example a Aston Martin One-77, race it in level 5 and 6 to earn money and then buy your Koenisegg.

This is a decent strategy but not the best with the proper tuning and timing I run my 599 at constant 12.440's sometimes faster. When most other 599's redline in 6th im still beastin out in 5th. I don't even have to shift out of 5th to win a 1/2 mile current top speed(in 5th gear) 258mph.
Then of course on the 1/4 I love dusting off those green lambos. They'll be ahead till the last fraction of a second when the 599's superior top speed puts them to shame.
Hi!
And you have this tune with maximum upgrades?
N: 2,82
FD: 2,048
1st: 3,150
2nd: 2,604
3rd: 2,217
4th: 1,902
5th: 1,672
6th: 1,454
Don't understand that. My only idea is, that you didn't update the game f
Hi guys,
I just got my first HOF al level 6, 1/2 mile, with my Aston Martin one-77, and a setup I made on my own. I regularly raced in the range 12.867-12.877, which is enough to win most races, but I sometimes got beaten by cars as fast as 12.85x.
A few days ago I was thinking about posting my setup here to everybody, since I won't race on the pro league anymore with it, but now I changed my mind. Why? Ok, let's do some maths first. When your rank is above 4950, you get +1 when you win and -24 when you are second. This means that out of 25 races, if you are 1st on 24 and 2nd in 1 race, you get an overall rank of zero. So, winning 96% of the races will mantain your rank. If you want to get 5000, you have to win more than 96% of the races. You have to be more reliable than a condom!
Now imagine that you spend a long long time tunning your car and you get 12.880 - 12.890 regularly, which is a pretty good tune. However, you can't hit 5000 because some people that have no idea about tunning just copied my setup and race faster than you. Some of them even use offensive names such as "kiss_my_tail" or "suck_my_butt". This would be a piss-off and very unfair to you, don't you think?
So, to be respectful and fair to those who spend hours working on their own setup, I will only give my tune to those who ask me personally and show me that they know about tunning and will use my tune to analyze it, improve it, or improve their own tune, which is what I do with someone else's tunes. But if you post a message "this is my first message, what's the meaning of tunning and how do I get my AM-one to be faster?" there is no way I will give you my tune.
By the way, I used to race on 1/2 mile level 10 with my maxed Venom, but level 6 was much more fun. If you want to win on level 10 you have to max your car, so everything you have left to improve your car is tunning. However, when tunning my level 6 AM or my level 8 Agera, I had to find out a good tune and also a good combo of upgrades, so it is much more difficult and fun to find the best setup for these cars. So, I think I will use my millions of cash and 30.000 rp to go back to lower levels and I will leave level 10 for those of you with clockwork fingertips who can regularly get 10.896, because that's the only way to make it to the HOF.
By the way, excuse me for my english.
What is the best level 10 car?
I have SSC Aero with almost all upgrades (5/5/4/4/4/5 and original tune) but I couldn't win the Boss (lvl 10); Hennessy in 1/2miles and Bugatti in 1/4 mile. No matter how. Should I get the Hen or keep upgrade my Aero? It needs additional 3900RP for all upgrade and it will take me for awhile to get that amountof RP. With all upgrade, how fast is the Aero?
